The Criterion Collection laserdisc of John Carpenter’s Halloween (1978) is the only release that features the complete original mono score recording. All other releases are either remixes or reinterpretations. Having the original recording would mean the world to me. If anyone has this disc, I would love the isolated score and effects track. Thank you very much! 🙂

I have that LaserDisc but no LaserDisc player sold my Pioneer years ago, I have the audio commentary though with John Carpenter Debra Hill and Jamie Curtis.

If it’s not too much trouble, I’d love to have that!

I sure would love to get my hands on the original mono recording from the isolated laserdisc track but alas…it doesn’t seem that anyone has the means to transfer/convert the music from the LD. Oh well…
