Not sure if Bert Shefter was actually involved with this score.

I was going to say that I hear "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea" in this, but then realized that "Leagues" was composed by a different Paul… Paul J. Smith, not Paul Sawtell! I guess dreamy harps have been popular in the orchestration of deep sea film music (e.g., Herrmann’s "Beneath The 12-Mile Reef" and Williams’ "Jaws").

Yes. ALAC transcoded from the FLAC. Whether the original FLAC files were truly lossless to begin with I cannot confirm.
