APPARENTLY THERE ARE SOME CONCERNS OVER WHETHER OR NOT THIS IS ACTUALLY STIR OF ECHOES.
FEEL FREE TO ASK FOR A LINK AND MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND.
IF YOU HAVE ANY INFO ON WHAT IT MIGHT BE, DON’T HESITATE TO LET ME KNOW.
MEANWHILE, I’VE CROSS-REFERENCED THIS TO THE STIR OF ECHOES COMPLETE SCORE,
AND WHILE THERE ARE ALMOST NO MATCHING CUES, THERE ARE MATCHING INSTRUMENTS.
I’M CURIOUS TO KNOW AS TO WHAT FILM THIS SCORE ORIGINATES FROM AS THE WEBSITE THAT LISTS THIS
MIGHT BE WRONG BUT THEY OTHERWISE AREN’T. THIS WAS TAKEN FROM THE SCORE-REVOLUTIONS WEBSITE.

Link received! Many thanks again!! 🙂
Many thanks, dear Dave !!!
Reputation added ! 😉
These are sessions. It could be JNH indeed. I was thinking about "Falling Down" but i m really not sure. Could someone identify it?
Thank you very much!!

Why would an official website list these as Stir Of Echoes if it’s not the case? If it’s true, that’s a monumental cockup and I’m very interested to know what score it is then.
If it’s something else, it’s not Falling Down though, I have the Intrada release and it doesn’t sound anything like it. If you can help make sure this is legit, I’d appreciate it.
The edited cues are only excerpts from the main cues. The whole set is only 39 cues long!
Yes of course they’re edited excerpts. I never claimed these were FULL sessions. Alternate excerpts from cues still rank as part of sessions, as that’s what they technically are.
What official website? It has no titles or slates, doesn’t sound too official to me 😉 If it is Newton Howard, it should be older than Stir of Echoes. It’s very synth-heavy.
Thanks Fink. I’ve seen your work on Hunger Games so I’m keen to know if you can dig into this.

Read the description. It came from the Score Revolution website. Official as in a legit website that deals with licensing. Both myself and other people here have gotten loads of scores from there and they were all the real deal. If this isn’t Stir of Echoes, it’s probably just a rare mistake on their end. Either that or it’s demos or something related. All of their scores have track numbers and track names, except this one doesn’t. First one there I’ve encountered as such.

Oh yes believe me it s not Stir Of Echoes I know this score very well, and i d like to know what this one is too! I ll try to find what it is on my side and ask the help of some friends 🙂
Maybe I should just upload it to Youtube and wait for a copyright infringement notice, LOL. Then we’ll know :p
You don’t understand. Those cues are no real Alternates! Only excerpts from ‘highlights’ of the cue with a fade-in and a fade-out. They were never part of the sessions!
Not really. Listen to track 38 and its edit. It builds differently (one higher than the other) and the edit also ends on a high, sort of what you can use if a character wakes up from a nightmare. Not the same intro by far.
I cannot recognize the work of JNH in this. I’ve heard so much of his music, this cannot be composed by JNH.
His music always includes a memorable melody or an outcoming instrument (clarinet/piano/horn most of the times). This score is too ’empty’ and dark to be a JNH score.
But what is it then? I don’t know yet.

That’s the question, indeed 🙂
many thanks
Thank you 🙂
Thank you very much!
I’ll listen to this right now!
