I already have this, but wanted to say great post! These works are awesome!

I played Prokofiev’s 2nd Concerto for Piano in my Symphony during one of our concerts throughout the school year. It was quite fun to play, very difficult piece. Played violin.

Many good recordings of the concertos, and this is decent set, but I recommend the new, complete Bavouzet set from Chandos.

For concertos 2 and 3, Gutierrez with Jarvi (also on Chandos) can’t be beat!
