I’ve been downloading off Mirrorcreator for years, never had a virus. Consider installing add-ons like Adblock Plus, if you haven’t already and make sure you are clicking on the CLICK HERE button found near Hosting site (on the Mirrorcreator’s download-page). Also, pay attention to what you do, when you’re on other file-hosting websites; if you make the mistake of clicking on a fake "download now button" leading to ads, that’s not the website’s fault.
