THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2000 ARRANGE SOUND TRAX (bad toc, probably splitted with medieval cuesplitter, no cue & log)
THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’99 (bad toc, probably splitted with medieval cuesplitter, have log & cue)
THE KING OF FIGHTERS NEOWAVE ARRANGE TRACKS CONSUMER VERSION (right toc, have log & cue, but some tracks doesn’t match accuraterip and ctdb)
On a side note, the so-called "arranged" osts are just the redbook osts, huh?
I mean, the music we could hear if we played the CD versions of these games.
On a side note, the so-called "arranged" osts are just the redbook osts, huh?
they are individual releases, as far as know, tracks have longer runtime than on redbook
almost every neo-geo OST does have its AST companion

Thanks so much for contribution!
so pity, I already have this 99 ost rip, it does have logs and cues, but the tracks, if you check them with cuetools, does not match the TOC, and accuraterip/ctdb
I restored second disc of 99 ost, now it does match, but first does not
I’m with him, I got some cue+flac rips from half of the discs, but having them all would be amazing.
Edit: I got 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9.
done, look inside main folder, 9 archives, flac+cue;

I realized that the discs I have does indeed have logs. Do you want them?
Sure, I will be greatfull
———- Post added at 02:30 PM ———- Previous post was at 02:07 PM ———-
Many log-files contain information about riping: 1 track -> 1 file. And in fact all the tracks are merged into a single file. Why?
yes, multitrack rips was converted into single flac with embedded cue file, since there is cuetools, converting process is maximum safe and there is also check against log, so the data remains the same.
I think single flac+cue is the most aesthetic format and simpler to maintain.
for example, I can mount cue with daemon tools and rip to acc with itunes very fast 🙂
it is flac file with embedded cuesheet, cuesheet is a track layout, use any modern player to play it (foobar2000, aimp)
or you can mount them in daemon tools with external cue
Also, I can’t convert to separate FLAC files (which is what I do for most albums I download on FFshrine).
The error message I get is =>
Unable to open item for playback (Object not found):
"C:\Users\Utilisateur\Downloads\MUSIC\THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’94 ARRANGE SOUND TRAX (PCCB-00165)\THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’94 ARRANGE SOUND TRAX (PCCB-00165).cue" / index: 13
And this for every track.
I’m not sure what to do… I’m sure it’s a little problem which can be fixed, but I don’t know yet… Hmmm 🙁
1st
edit cue file with notepad, replace "CDIMAGE.WAV" -> "THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’94 ARRANGE SOUND TRAX (PCCB-00165).flac"
2nd
simply open flac file with foobar, not cue
I don’t know about you guys, and if your Foobar automatically detects in which languages tracks are, but mine doesn’t.
So I had to open the .cue file in foobar, and then select all tracks, and then right-click => tagging => fix metadata charset => 932 ANSI/OEM Japanese (Original charset).
Voil! lol
The tracks displayed normally and I could convert them to separate .flac files. 🙂
Before I did this, it’s like nothing was detected and could be played.
Edit : Now I only need "THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2000 ARRANGE SOUND TRAX" and it’ll be perfection! 🙂
K.O.F. DANCE TRAX (PCCB-00233)
KOF 15TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL SOUNDTRACK
THE KING OF FIGHTERS BEST ARRANGE COLLECTION ~SINCE 94 TO 00~ (SCDC-00014)
THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII 4-CD COMPILATION SOUNDTRACK (4CD)
THE KING OF SOUNDTRACKS ’94-XIII (4CD)
THE KING OF SOUNDTRACKS ’94-XIII DISC V
THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK (2CD) (KDSD-00379~80)
so those 3 albums missing…the ones available on this forums doesn’t meet the reqs?
(kof99 is on blackjesuschristo’s thread)
appreciate it. https://youtu.be/2gXfhHrXjWo
I have one simple question though, How can I convert them to separated mp3 format files with the correct names for each ?
I use foobar2000 and I can’t update the tags using this same program.
Any solution please ?

IIRC, in the Real Bout Arrange. Lemme check the ones I got, but pretty sure it’s in there, since those were featured in the Fatal Fury Real Bout games first.
FYI if anyone had trouble with getting the filenames to have the song titles in order.
For the ones I downloaded, I noticed that the cue files don’t have any track information like song names and album. The log file has that info, but from what I read it should be in the cue file. Without this data in the cue, you can’t get automatic labeled file names with titles and no ID3 tags when you split the files. It will just default to track01.flac, track02.flac or whatever extension you want. If you want the song title in the filename, you have to manually name the files.
Alternatively, you can edit the cue file with a text editor and type in TITLE "SONG NAME" right below each track number. Depending which software you use, this should automate file naming with the song titles when splitting the files.

Thanks!
I’m trying to compile a complete collection of all of the KOF soundtrack/drama CDs in FLAC format.
So far I’ve got most of what’s already been posted in this thread, but I’m still missing a few:

If anyone has any of the missing albums or has a link to download any of these albums in FLAC format please post them here.
Once I have all of them I’ll create a new download link containing all of these albums.
Thank you very much in advance.

Nice <3 You have other albums SNK with Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting and other SNK Fighting games?
Unfortunately I do not. 🙁
I only have those albums from the KOF series. I’m trying to compile a complete download link of all of the music and drama CDs.
It’s a heavy task but I’m up for the challenge.
If anyone is interested in any of my music CDs in FLAC format in exchange for the albums I’m missing I’d be more than happy to scratch your back if you scratch mine.
Here’s a list of the albums I own: https://vgmdb.net/db/collection.php?do=view&userid=24676

But I’m still missing the other albums marked in the image.
.

London March
C62
Blue Mary’s Blues
Kuri to Itsu Made mo
PCCB-00279 is lacking of those tracks.
London March = Garou Densetsu SPECIAL Image Album Part I
C62 = Garou Densetsu 3 Arrange Soundtrack
Kuri to Itsu Made mo, Blue Mary’s Blues = Real Bout Garou Densetsu SPECIAL Arrange Soundtrack
Before you ask, the arranged tracks for KOF98 are like this:
Ne!, SLUM No.5 = KOF 94 AST
Shin! Senritsu no Dora = KOF 95 AST
ESAKA?, Rumbling on the City, Fairy, Arashi no Saxophone 2 = KOF 96 AST
Choi Bounge Ondo, Bloody, Still Green, ESAKA FOREVER, COOL JAM, Rhythmic Hallucination = KOF 97 AST
Kurikinton ~Gomame Guitar Ver.~ = = Garou Densetsu SPECIAL Image Album Part II
Soul Town = REAL BOUT Garou Densetsu AST (albeit in KOF 98 home versions, Seoul Road from KOF 96 AST is used instead)
The only one that remains unreleased is Art Of Fight, the highest quality available is from the NG CD version and there’s a different mix on the DC version, although this can’t be ripped easily as it is a CDDA track within the GD-ROM sectors.
