My AOTC and ROTS Expanded Edits

Thought I’d start a new thread for more people to see if they wanted to.

Here’s an edit for Attack Of The Clones for you guys that I myself did.

It’s not complete…still material missing (especially unused bits) but it’s better than nothing. For this set I did create the tracked music but tried to do it a bit better than what was heard in the film. I didn’t do any tracked music for ROTS, that would have been way too much.

Some cues are missing music IE: The First Kiss, The Conveyor Belt, etc…this includes not only music heard in the film but any unused sections. Some cues are their film versions IE: Anakin Changes.

Any cues that had clean intros / endings I did use. Only six of them didn’t have either a clean intro or ending so left them joined, that includes "The Conveyor Belt" since that is supposed to be two cues.

I saved everything as flac so there would be no loss in quality.

I know this score has been posted many times before but most of them weren’t updated with material found from The Old Republic game. For example "The Death Of Dooku" from other sets, not complete…thanks to TOR and a couple of other games the cue is now complete same goes for "Get ‘Em, R2!"

The score is not complete…still quite a bit of music missing I think maybe around 10-15 minutes worth, not entirely sure.

For this I used the film version mixes from the games as I always preferred those over the album sets.

Like with AOTC I saved everything as flac so there would be no loss in quality. Clean intros / endings provided and I also re-created the cue "Duel Of Yoda and Sidious".

The following tracks have DVD rips but were a bit necessary…
Disc 1 Track 11 (barely noticeable)
Disc 1 Track 20 (to create a smooth transition towards the end)
Disc 1 Track 30 (for a brief transition and the statement of Vader’s theme at the end)

I’ve listened to some of the tracks you mentioned have sfx on AOTC (I assume that’s what you meant by "DVD rips") but I can’t hear much of anything, to be honest. Thanks for this, it sounds great so far!
I did hear something on "Padm�’s Visit" on ROTS but it was over before you knew it, and I’m pretty sure that can be smoothed out too!

I’ve been comparing the version I have to the version you posted, and the whole Geonosis battle is there, with no sfx whatsoever!!
Some of your cues that have sfx in it are also available in other AOTC versions without sfx, so I’m kind of baffled as to why you didn’t take another version as your starting point and move on from there.

If I combine your version with mine, there’s very little sfx remaining overall!! 😀 😀

UPDATE 2: I’ve combined them, and here’s what I have now:

ALMOST THREE HOURS! 😀 😀 the starred cues is what I’ve retained from Vosk’s upload and therefore have sfx.
I’ve also taken some creative liberty with the slate numbers to keep everything numbered 🙂 (all cues that have -TR in front of them mean they are tracked).

If anyone wants me to upload this, let me know, and I’ll create a new thread for it.
The Zam Chase Film Mix part 1 is the exact same as the other track except for a 2sec drum intro, so I’ve kept the latter and removed the "film mix".
Also the numbering in the screenshot is off but that’s fixed.

Also Faleel is right the film mixes for "Zam Chase" parts 1 and 2 don’t have the guitar. Actually for Part 1 film mix the guitar is there but it was dialed down VERY VERY low, it almost can’t be heard but it’s still there.

Same thing for ROTS. I went over everything and added VOSK’s work to the album I already had. HIS WORK ON PADME’S FUNERAL IS FLAWLESS. It is supposed to be "barely noticeable", but I sure as hell didn’t! So glad to see we’re getting back to trying to complete AOTC and ROTS! 😀
