I know its a long shot… but I don’t suppose this includes the original (non-film version) of John Eric Alexander’s "Lethal Fuzz" source cue?

Was always one of my favourite trailer tracks from the 90’s but could never find it. The Hot Fuzz version on the OST was the closest I ever got to it, but still chasing the original.

The tracks are numbered 1-100 but there’s only 83 in the archive so I assume the cue you speak of is one of the 17 missing cues.

It wasn’t part of the original score though… it was trailer music (I think) written in the late 80’s/early 90’s. Unlikely to be part of the sessions here, but thought I’d ask anyway! 🙂

I’m not sure what this counts as, but I think I may have a clue to one of the missing tracks: in the DVD commentary, Edgar Wright says the the percussion piece that plays throughout the barn scene (probably M42) is actually the trailer music from Lethal Weapon (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKeW-MGu-qQ). Just thought I’d throw that out there.

As for the other missing tracks, is it possible they’re probably alternates, source cues or part of the unused bits after M87? I have to re-watch the movie to confirm this, but it’s just a thought.

Whoever took it from the studio did so by transcoding from the master files. 99% chance they were lossless, most all studio production recordings for film are. It was probably 24/48 but as far as I know this is the only publicly available version.
