I was told long ago that via PM was ok

I made the mistake of posting a live link many moons ago and was informed of my error
but was also told via PM was allowed…it would now seem I was given bogus information.
if this is the case then feel free to remove the many many threads I’ve seen in the forum.

It has been a recently-made change to the "policy," but Var�se doesn’t want its stuff to be shared here, at all, I guess we’ve been contacted again by them. EDIT: Jessie might hopefully make it clearer to you, but yeah, the creation of threads advertising PM-sharing of their stuff is no longer allowed.

I would give a hand, but I’m not a moderator of this part of the forum. You may also report the infringing content yourself, click on the little triangle with a "!", you should find it to the right of the thingy which has you give reputation to someone. An administrator will eventually delete them.

From now on no threads are to be created for music from Varese Sarabande.

I have also had to delete a few threads, just in case people are wondering where they have gone to.

That’s a simple HTML table, which I put together, Jessie approved it. I also added some stuff which wasn’t mentioned in the original list, that also constituted banned material, or was an enforced rule (years ago even threads with bootlegs/DVD-Rips of music which got officially published by one of the banned labels used to be deleted around here).

I suggested that we extend the no-PM advertising thing to the rest of banned stuff+labels, but I’m frankly not sure of what Jessie thinks about it, he didn’t comment on it.

I keep forgetting we have that here. It can be real handy to sort things out.
