Yeah, I hear they grabbed a number of well-known actors/crew members to play stormtroopers in the film.

And Nigel Godrich! He’s the producer of Radiohead and wrote the soundtrack for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

And Daniel Craig played the stormtrooper Rey manipulates by using The Force

There were a lot of physical and voice cameos: Daniel Craig was the stormtrooper guarding Rey, Simon Pegg was Plutt, the Jakku junk dealer, Kevin Smith was there plus the voices of Alec McGuiness, Ewan MacGregor, Frank Oz and the cast of Star Wars: The Clone Wars & Star Wars Rebels were heard.

I know about McGuinness and Oz, but where did you read about the other voices?

Are people just now picking up on this? I knew about it opening night when I saw it… From what i understand, Giacchino and Nigel Godrich play the 2 stormtroopers that turn around and walk away when Kylo Ren is having his tantrum.
