Hi all,

Someone in the requests section was asking for this so I figured I’d put it in gen. pop. Opposed to the 25 songs on the OST, the gamerip has 59 total tracks. The source material has not been altered, as per requested, so some tracks may end abruptly. The file names that were extracted weren’t tagged in any meaningful way so I can’t really guess at titles or who composed them. I haven’t downloaded the OST to compare so hopefully interested parties will be able to tag the known tracks the best they can.

Edit: Btw, the 2nd track totally steals a jingle from LOTR at around 1:40 haha. – https://youtu.be/nbLRDozffOc?t=114 In regards to this track as well, not sure why it’s so much lower quality than everything else. The other tracks were in the normal 1400-1500 Kbps range for WAV at either 44100 or 48000 hz. This one was like 768 Kbps at 24000 hz, so I can’t really do anything to improve this track. (or it’s beyond my expertise anyway)

To extract the best use of this tool – https://yadi.sk/d/xIHxOpHkkCNWS
But it extracts audio format WAV, but the size of the original file and received audio is too large. Therefore it is necessary to convert the WAV in any format quality lossy.

Which tracks are not a part of the official soundtrack?

I’ll reply to you in a moment. I am working on a "complete OST", but I have like 4 tracks right now that I just can’t recognize. I’m sure there will be more.

Its funny, I was thinking the same thing. It’s an hour’s worth of tracks on Infernus’ rip, and the music from SotFS was also an hour long.

I believe this one is phase 2 of Dragonslayer Armour.

m350000003 is also phase 2 of Dancer of the Boreal Valley. The other ones I don’t recognize whatsoever, so I guess you can just take those two out of the list.

Edit: I just realized someone made an entire list’a these in another thread. Whoops!

I wouldn’t take it out.
I’m more than sure that that is part of the DLC. A lot of the themes seem to include a first phase and then second phase ordering. I believe that m350000002 is a first form for possibly another boss similar to the Dancer in the DLC m350000003 is it’s second phase. It makes logical sense. If anything, I’d mix m350000002 and then m350000003 after it and say "Dancer of the Boreal Valley – Alternate" or something along those lines. 90% sure thats going to be the case.

I recognize this theme. Its very much from the Lord of the Rings soundtrack. The guys at FROM must be Lord of the Rings fans lol
I imagine it’s a placeholder theme. It might have been used as a temp Firelink Shrine/area theme and forgot to remove it? Developers have been known to do this kind of thing before as "temporary mood" music, only using as reference because they wanted a song composed in a similar mood for the final product and used it for testing purposes lol

Btw, the 2nd track totally steals a jingle from LOTR

that is definitely from the lotr soundtrack which explains the quality difference, I think it’s supposed to be a reference track or rather the piece of music that inspires the DaS3 soundtrack, if you listen to all of Kitamura’s compostion of the score they are filled with choir and voices to make them sound epic like the lotr soundtrack.
