From the liner notes, author unknown:

His musical style is rather eclectic, sometimes tonal and sometimes modal, and not a little chromatic, but nevertheless basically tonal. He has composed highly constructive music (4 symphonies and 3 concertos), in which the music is always emotional and very melodious. It may seem curious that such a composer, who has been trained in scientific and theoretical education, is not interested in electronic music; yet, as he himself acknowledges, it is precisely his theoretical background which prevents him from taking up this type of music. It is because in music he pursues something emotional, a quality which is absent in electronic music. Therefore, it is very natural for him to write many songs and especially to compose operas (3 operas so far).
