Oh man, probably a new remaster, better than mine old 1990 remaster. A century recording, except the 9th track 4, the german language of the choir is horrible. Or listen to: OH Freund����� nicht diese T�n������….;O)

I disagree. The final quartet in that last movement of the 9th is the only one I have ever heard where the voices come through equally and it gives the final cut-off, which is in perfect unison, a chilling effect. It’s my reference 9th actually. Even though I would concede that the diction of the larger choir could definitely be better.
