About 10 years ago, I ran my vhs tapes through my Plextor ConvertX and copied them to dvd. Now I’ve just copied them to the hard drive with Handbrake, edited them with Audacity to extract as much music from them as I could, and have converted them to mp3. Just uploaded the first try here:
Edit – a third, corrected track list try here:

The sound quality is awful, even worse than Tadlow’s Blue Max and Suites. Which brings me to Jerry Goldsmith. He is my all time favorite soundtrack composer. But only after these two scores from Billy Goldberg. Fear is as remarkable a score as Planet of the Apes from the same year. And instead of STTMPs much later blaster beam, Goldenberg uses his own blaster beam effect, a very eerie, wolf-like thing that is weird indeed.
So I hope you all will "enjoy" these. They do go beyond creepy, perhaps the scariest movie music ever written. Unfortunately, no one might never get a chance to see the films this goes with, so you won’t realize just how effective this "music" really is.
And if any of the mightily skilled sound editors here want to play with these and make them sound better, there’s a whole world out there that should be properly grateful.
Apologies for my ham-fisted efforts. I will try to make these better myself, too.

Found a trailer for Fear No Evil on YouTube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeOyahDUNAU
Had to leave out the good music in the trailer where the girl is locked out of the house, as there were just too much fx and other sound. Too bad.
And what looks like about the same quality vhs copy as mine of the complete Ritual of Evil, in several parts, starting at:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIdQ_DqF1xc&list=PLB9FE18CF794A8361
as well as another intact version, though the picture quality is even worse.
Ritual isn’t as overtly horror as Fear but it’s still a good and intelligent spooky show, and in the end perhaps somewhat more mature than Fear.
Hope you enjoy the music!!
Hope you enjoy the music!!
Unfortunately there’s no means of distinguishing Fear tracks from Ritual tracks. A track listing would be very helpful.
Ya, I just took note of that on IMDB a short while ago. Album credit changed.

Don’t know how to add a photo in-line here, tho every time I try, it tells me that the file exceeds my quota by just how big the file is. Guess I’m just not allowed to, even if it says I am. ?? Anyway, they’re there, front back and two inside. Cheers and happy dreams.
