It’s fanmade, but a very good fanedit. People used it in trades to get rare scores…
Same happend with Apocalypto, which was a fanmade version as well.

I knew this "special edition" from Willow….Absolutely nothing new compared to the original OST… unfortunately. It’s not (for me) a good fan edit, it’s not in chronological order…

Stupidly vague? That’s more on you than him since this is primarily a Name of The Rose thread and the fact is that BOTH scores are fakes.

That is because they are….you and I had a PM conversation about this back in July 2015…seems you forgot about that.

I can only applaud the effort put into this assembly. It’s very clean. For my own listening purposes I’ll probably end up tweeking tracks for consistent levels and warmer presence.

In any case, I gladly welcome the share.

Thank you very much. It’s a very clean rip and very welcome.
I used it to create a better (in my opinion) version, using the better sounding OST tracks whenever possible and levelling the dynamics a bit, which in some cases were too close to the volume changes within the film to be satisfying:
