I’ve been playing it for about a year now and with so many people back on this site, it might be worth trying to start something up.
A really basic Mafia game set-up works like this:
13 players sign up, and 3 of them are randomly selected to be the Mafia team. They are allowed to communicate privately, and the rest of the players–the town–don’t know who they are. Town’s goal is to figure out who the mafia are and kill them. The mafia’s goal is to kill all the villagers. It starts with a ~36 hour day phase where everyone pokes and prods and ruins each others lives in the game thread. You each vote who you think the most likely mafia is, and when the timer runs out, the player with the majority vote gets lynched. Then you have a ~12 hour night phase where the mafia privately choose one villager to kill, and villagers can perform randomly assigned actions such as investigating a particular person to learn their alignment.
It’s fun. I want to make it happen here. Is anyone interested?
pretty fun, didnt like having to behave on the roads, but ok
