There’s no reason to have it in 96kHz when it’s like this.
The dead air isn’t going to add precision.

This is something that’s been known to happen with HDTracks when they started out.

I think you’re looking in the wrong thread entirely.

My settings are set to show only 30 posts per page.
And I looked at every post and every page and I see nothing for 24/44.1. From OP or otherwise.

I saw one random link someone posted that just says "M4A" but that means absolutely nothing.
(Because that person never said ALAC or AAC because M4A is just a container)

I would just:
A) Buy it. ( i dont care if you can or cannot; furthermore I dont care about reasons — I’m just telling you your options)
B) Wait for someone else to buy it and post it (hopefully in a new thread to cut down on needless confusion)

There was only one thing that was 24-bit in this thread and it was fake and removed.

The only thing lossless left in entire thread is the 16-bit lossless.

You may speak the truth, but then when it comes to THIS Zimmer "score", he’s not wrong. I loved the "Dark Knight Trilogy" scores, and decided to give this one a chance (and yes, I have indeed seen the film…I don’t hate it like so many seem to, but I can understand where the criticism comes from) anyway…this score is garbage. Plain and simple. It has very few moments worth hearing again (the piano / string-driven drama of Bruce Wayne, the reprise of the ‘Man of Steel’ piano theme, even the creepiness of the Lex Luthor stuff) but when it gets noisy, holy shit…..it sucks. I hesitate to even call it music. Noise can be effective in music, but this is just useless noise trying oh so fucking hard to be "EPIC" it just ends up an EPIC FAIL.

Zimmer and Co. are capable of having genuinely good taste. This is the antithesis of that.

The tracks first sounds with Lex coming in the ship, the big piano stuff then cuts off. The cords kinda sinister stuff is with Senator Fynch, when she cancels the mineral license, and Lex goes The Red capes are coming! and the painting upside down thing.

The track is split in the film, in those two scenes.
