Does anyone here happen to know how to pull files off a site like Carter Burwell’s?

There’s an awful lot of demo music on the individual pages which can be played over the internet, but I have no idea how to make copies of any of it.

I tried using Jdownloader, but it doesn’t see anything but jpegs.

The following pages contain tracks that are (to my knowledge) not available anywhere else.

http://www.carterburwell.com/projects/TONE.shtml
http://www.carterburwell.com/projects/Moving_Gracefully.html
http://www.carterburwell.com/projects/Family_Fang.shtml
http://www.carterburwell.com/projects/Olive_Kitteridge.shtml

This is all music I’d really love to get MP3s of, but don’t seem to be having any luck.

There is some good news, however, for all you Burwell fanatics. All of the older unreleased scores have demos which are available to download right off their individual pages as MP3s. Things like the unused score for Kiss the Girls, and unreleased material like Celluloid Closet, A Hero of Our Time, and Lumiere et Ombre.

These are all available by accessing their individual pages through his Projects links page:
http://www.carterburwell.com/main/projects_date.shtml

Check them out, they’re great.

And if anyone could point me towards a way to pull the music from the pages I listed above, I’d be eternally grateful.

Wow, asked and answered.

This program really works.

I guess this is as close as I’m going to get to a real copy of the Olive Kitteridge score. And I am not complaining.

Yes, it’s an extremely powerful little tool! I use it all the time, mostly for doing tasks similar to what you’re trying to do. 🙂
