Sorry, but Kollo is a wrong occupation. It need not be always Wunderlich but Kollo is definitely at the wrong place. Waldemar Kmentt, Janet Baker and Kubelik is a alternate on Audite live recording.

It need not be always Wunderlich but Kollo is definitely at the wrong place.I don’t doubt that the Kubelik is very fine, but nevertheless, considering that Bernstein, Solti, and Karajan all three used Kollo for recording Das Lied von der Erde, I would say you still have a serious credibility issue. Besides, in case you missed it in the subject header, part of the reason for posting the Solti-Chicago recording is because it’s out of print in the USA and very difficult to find. For Solti-Chicago Mahler completists, I would think this would be a rather desirable recording to have.
