Someday.. someday too! I’m pretty sure Disney will release it one day. I heard the guy in charge of Disney Records saying they wanted to release the left ones, but Disney as a company feels they wouldn’t sell or are not worth it. But one day they’ll find a way, maybe digital, which is less coast for them.

Yes, but I really crave song of the south, plus a dvd.

That’s a really huge want, too. It’s a part of the past, and quite a movie.. It really doesn’t has anything racist. There’s a silly ban to it just because people 20 years ago were more conservative. But here’s hoping one day Disney direction changes and just decides to release it.

Oooooooooooo this is exciting! I really love this score, although I’ve actually hardly listened to it. But this is definitely something to save up for. Love Broughton. Good on Intrada for getting the rights to release this.

I didn’t see it in theatres but I re-watched it on VHS and Bluray multiple times just for that scene as well. Such power and beauty. You simply don’t see that in animated movies today.

The masters for the first Rescuers are gone hence no complete release. That’s what I’ve heard anyway.
