This soundtrack/album was originally intended to accompany a fangame called Retro Sonic Nexus a merge of 3 ambitious fangames Sonic Nexus, Sonic XG, and Retro Sonic. Two of three games were put on indefinite hiatus (XG is still in development) yet Hunter Bridges finished the soundtrack. The music is similar to the Sonicesque albums are in the style of the original Mega Drive/Genesis games.

It’s good especially track 7, so download it.

What a shame that this game has been cancelled.
I was just playing the single level of the original Sonic Nexus and it was quite good…

Although not as good as Sonic Overture, which is very professional.
