Looking for the soundtrack from the 1996 OVA, Sanctuary: TDKI Records, TDCD-1132 (http://vgmdb.net/album/54877).
The ED song is "A Baby’s Born" sung by the American jazz singer Chris Connor (sometimes misspelled Chris Conner). It’s track #2 on her album "Alone Together," first issued in the 70s and recently reissued in Japan (http://www.discogs.com/Chris-Conner-Anita-ODay-Alone-Together/release/7655446). The reissue is only available as an import. It’s also the last song on the soundtrack album.
