I was trying to find it on my iTunes store for the past couple days but it seems it’s out in some places beforehand. FINALLY, a proper version of the GZ trailer music which was just awesome. I’ve been trying to recreate it all this time. A lot of good stuff from both games on this.

Some quick googling led me to http://www.metalgearinformer.com/?p=23653 that claims "The cd will only be available digitally."

I assume they mean album, and without a CD release (or some other lossless digital) a proper FLAC release will be impossible.

Hope iTunes starts using a lossless format someday.

Thank you very much for the album!!! I was really looking forward to this, as this has many missing tracks that the 2 CD OST didn’t have. Everything’s here, I love it!

And I gotta say I don’t understand those who say that MGS V’s OST isn’t good… I love every MGS OST, Harry Gregson-Williams did an amazing job, but Ludvig Forssell’s music is right up there too. I mean just listen too tunes like "OKB Zero" (that is some Hans Zimmer-like adrenaline pumping action track, one of the best action composition I’ve ever heard), "Shining Lights Even In Death", "V Has Come To" or "Return".. and if these tracks didn’t prove it, this Extended collection definitely does, it’s just stuffed with amazing instrumental pieces!

So, who will be the brave person to arrange this and the first OST into a chrono order of the game? 😀

M4A is container, itunes store codec (inside M4A) is lossy AAC so you would be converting lossy to lossless which gets you nothing except bloated files.
