INTERRABANG (1969) Berto Pisano [FLAC & 320]

Sometimes music just hits the spot. Of all the Italian scores I’ve been lucky enough to discover on sites like this, INTERRABANG is the one I probably play the most. It has a warm, soothing atmosphere that was like balm for my soul when I first heard it (and my soul needed a lot of balm at that time). For some reason I always visualise the English countryside when I listen to this… kids running through sun-dappled forests… lovers walking in green fields with perfect blue skies above them… or driving down country lanes in an open top sports car… yeah, this score still hits the spot for me.

Eventually I realised I just had to have the actual CD of this. And I couldn’t find it anywhere. At least not for a price that wouldn’t bankrupt me. It was available as an iTunes download, but that just wouldn’t do. Finally I managed to stumble across someone who had one last sealed copy (at its original price!) and I pounced on it.

So here it is – my own CD rip of a score that might save your sanity on a gloomy Winter day.
