NOTE:
This Project was actually done for a group that wanted me to do a real restoration for the 40th
Anniversary Edition, including some custom artwork. This was done between the last week in
June through around July 4th. I was asked not to release it, at least not till after October sometime.
I’m releasing it here for my fellow Shriners, sorry I couldn’t do it earlier. I hope you’ll still enjoy it.
Damage to the the Tapes including dropouts and other artifacts were removed. Enhancements
including a Multi-channel 5.1 isolated tracks and mastering were done to all Tracks. Also the
Source Tracks were 24~bit Lossless.
FYE has an exclusive orange pressing on vinyl released in October. Been meaning to get it and rip it.
Thank you so much!
Thank you very much, Spectre8750! 🙂
Happy Halloween!!! 🎃

happy halloween, and beware of clowns 😉
I had to wait several minutes for my head to clear from that revelation. So, Riff is also the composer for those happy little tunes that I used to sing in the theater back in the day?? That really blew my mind.
Back in ’82 and ’83 I had most of the dialog and lyrics memorized. Sometimes I still sing those songs in the house to my cat, who’s a captive audience. Those were good times.
Thanks Spectre not only for your music, but your thread has triggered a flood of fond memories!
And yes Darth, that same Richard O’Brien. He wrote all the songs and co-wrote the screenplay. I don’t really have a hard time picturing the man as Riff who also wrote/created it :p
That would have been nice. Practically the entire dialog is a goldmine of memorable, quotable quotes. Even the visual cues w/o dialog!
Fer instance, picture the gang gathered around the dining table and Riff sticking a fork into the roast, (or is it a Meat Loaf?) and I always remember the line from the audience about Riff knowing how to sling his meat.
Damn, that line gets me every time!
