Any Additional Info Regarding The Score And Arists Is Also Welcome!!
Have Fun And Good Luck on Finding them!
Everyone who knows me knows what mine are:
Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Brad Fiedel
and
Film mix of 5m64b Optimus from Transformers (2007), Steve Jablonsky
Any and all music for the TV series Young Justice, composed by the Dynamic Music Partners. I think it’s a shame that La La Land only released a single-disc soundtrack for the show. No sign of a volume 2 either…
Nathan Furst’s scores to the first three Bionicle films. He’s lost a lot of material in a hard drive crash, but I’m sure someone has backups tucked away somewhere in some attic… update 2018 – that one can be crossed off 🙂
Harry Potter 3 – John Williams
Cloud Atlas – Tykwer, Klimek, Heil
Thor 2 – Brian Tyler
Insurgent – Joseph Trapanese
Probably in that order, too.
Ohhhh, you 🙂
BUT…
i Wouldnt Say No To.
More Music From:
Once Upon A Time
Kingsman: The Secret Service
Titanic
Star Trek Voyager
I am Sure There Are More.
Casper is A Beautiful Score, I Adore The Music To Titanic. But i Would Not Say No to Casper…
Definitely. TV show composers create so much music, and so much of it is doomed to never be heard outside of the show by 99.99% of humanity. It’s really sad…
Exactly. I Would Have a Heart Attack if I Find Music Like Neely’s on Isham’ s Site For Once Upon A Time.
Because it’ll possibly leak soon, so it’s a waste putting it there? :p
– The Borgias (Season 2 & 3) – Trevor Morris
– Harry Potter 3 – John Williams
– Titanic – James Horner
– Esther (1999) – Ennio Morricone & Carlo Siliotto
– St. Paul (2000) – Carlo Siliotto
– Unreleased scores from (The Bible Collection) – Marco Frisina
– Complete unreleased music from (Game of Thrones, Prison Break and Person of Interest) – Ramin Djawadi
– American Gangster (2007) – Marc Streitenfeld
Crack in the World, Johnny Douglas
The Reincarnation of Peter Proud, Jerry Goldsmith
Damnation Alley (w/synth overlays), Jerry Goldsmith
Alexander (complete theatrical film score), Vangelis
King Kong (rejected score), Howard Shore
– Wallace & Gromit shorts. I know Skelly has ripped them, and they are very good rips, don’t get me wrong, but it still would be awesome if Aardman or Nott officially released the scores.
Kung Fu Panda 3
Legend of the Guardians: Owls of Ga’Hoole
I hear the composers are cooking something up with La La Land.

Yeah, why they haven’t been released is beyond me. The complete scores to all four shorts could fit on one single CD… c’mon, Aardman!
As for Aardman, it might be the fire that broke Aardman in 2005, though, maybe BBC has the tapes.. *shrugs*
As for my holy grails, I.. dunno, right now I’d have to think a lot
Good point, never thought about that. Nott might still have stuff, though.
And A Matter of Loaf and Death was composed after the fire… honestly, though, I wouldn’t care at all if that one were released.
John Williams
– Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
– Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
– Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (in good sound)
– The Lost World: Jurassic Park
– Munich
James Horner
– The Rocketeer
Mark Mancina
– Twister
Howard Shore
– The Hobbit trilogy
Hans Zimmer & RCP
– The Amazing Spider-Man 2
– Kung Fu Panda 2 (in lossless)
– Megamind (in lossless)
– Narnia: Prince Caspian (in lossless or since the warm butter website proves it exists, SURROUND!)
I know it’s unlikely, but I’m hoping that Varese Sarabande eventually decides to release more music from Sean Callery’s 24 and Tim Jones’ Chuck. I’d also love to have a legitimate release of Walt Disney’s Robin Hood, even if it’s just a good selection of the score’s highlights.
Gustavo Santaolalla – The Book of Life
John Debney – Bruce Almighty
Nicholas Hooper – Birdsong (basically anything this guy ever composed)
It would also be nice to be able to listen to Williams’ SW prequel trilogy sessions, Memoirs Of A Geisha or Terminal and few Zimmers like TASM2 or The Bible.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
The Hobbit Trilogy (although we may get complete recordings/expanded editions like we did for LOTR pretty soon)
The Amazing Spider-Man 2
X-Men: The Last Stand Main Titles (Film Version)
Various Unreleased tracks from Doctor Who: The full version of I Am The Doctor (with chorus), Pterodactyls (variation with chorus), Three Months Later (Series 6 Part 2 Trailer music), Don’t (from Midnight), Clara and the Crack (Time of the Doctor), Series 8 Action Music (Follows "Hello Hello" in Deep Breath and used in various episodes), Dark Water Trailer Music and others
Once Upon A Time Seasons 3, 4 and 5
Thor: The Dark World
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (It sounds better in the film but mainly so we have sessions for all the MCU films)
Avengers: Age of Ultron (Terrible score but Danny Elfman’s parts are good. Mainly so we have sessions for all the MCU films)
Ant-Man
Avengers: Age of Ultron (Terrible score but Danny Elfman’s parts are good. Mainly so we have sessions for all the MCU films)
Agreed. TWS OST is a horrible representation of all the music. Word has it this will leak soon.
As for AoU, I’m not fond of the OST either. I’d like to hear the complete score with Silvestri’s Avengers theme included.
As for AoU, I’m not fond of the OST either. I’d like to hear the complete score with Silvestri’s Avengers theme included.
The film version of "Captain America" is beautiful. The version they’ve used on the OST is terrible. I think that’s a major problem with the OST. It’s mainly suites and non-film versions of tracks inferior to the film versions which doesn’t represent the music well at all. On the OST, it’s just a lot of noise. In the film it’s a rather well done score.
As for Age of Ultron, it just doesn’t work as a whole. That said, both composers deliver some good tracks (all of Elfman’s are great), so hearing more of their material would hopefully help the score. I’m not sure if it’s the two styles not mixing well, Elfman being brought in late on or the OST not being a great representation of the score but something went wrong somewhere. Hearing the score in a more complete form would help me decide if it’s the score or the OST that’s the problem. There are a lot of good tracks, it just doesn’t seem to have any flow or focus.
Defiance (in Lossless) (James Newton Howard)
Interstellar (in Lossless) (Hans Zimmer)
Jupiter Ascending (Michael Giacchino)
Thor: The Dark World (Brian Tyler)
Fort Apache and/or She Wore A Yellow Ribbon (Richard Hageman) (these two don’t even have any release at all that I can find)
There are probably others but those are what come to mind atm…
Well, the only time I say "lossless" is if we already have it, but not in lossless. Without the "lossless" part I wouldn’t have those items on my list. :p
American Gangster (Marc Streitenfeld)
Black Box (Heather McIntosh)
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (John Williams)
Ironweed (John Morris)
Les Miserables 1978 (Allyn Ferguson)
π (Clint Mansell)
missing tracks from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest (Hans Zimmer)
The Wackness (David Torn)
Women Without Men (Ryuichi Sakamoto)
POST what Your Holy grails Of Film Music are
I’m not sure if that made sense. It does to me.
You may have spotted a pattern in what I listen to. Mostly action.
-Beast Machines
-ReBoot
-Beast Wars
Robert J. Walsh, Johnny Douglas
-G.I. Joe/Transformers
Even though I don’t own this, I think its the holy grail of Star Wars music.
batman vs. robin — a promo cd exist, since a friend got conformation by frederik wiedmann himself. but unless warner changes their mind, we wont hear that score outside of the movie.
The tracklist is just there teasing me on HZ.com!
That one might actually show up if Paramount’s FYCs have the complete scores like they did last year (Interstellar, TMNT, etc.)
They did last year… no word on whether they’ll do the same this year.
Maybe they’ll do a better job this year.
Hopefully they’ll hire someone else to do the mastering this time around, lol
I Am Greatful For Anything Shared :erm:
I Am Greatful For Anything Shared :erm:
In the end, I’m the same way. I have shitty hearing so I can’t really tell the difference between MP3 and lossless, but I’ll always prefer it anyway simply because it is the better of the two.
And while I’m grateful to have T4, I wish I had it in lossless so I could make a complete film edit. Because the cues are the film mixes. But working in 192k and then exporting in 192k makes me cringe.
theres this beautiful piano rendition that plays wen house is making an autopsy on a cat.
instead, every single "original soundtrack" is made up of every single POS commercial song that was featured on the show.

We may get that one if WB ever releases that B&W version. They’re probably going to wait until Christmas or something.
when i saw a disc with the elysium cover i thought it was the ost, instead its a bunch of "inspired by" bullshit songs.
pandora’s box is a great track, but the one actually used in the anime (notably episode 3) is AMAZING.
and (this series) orpheus theme is just soooo depressing and saddening to hear, which is why i love it.
Yeah, we’re patiently waiting. Haha lol
———- Post added at 04:18 PM ———- Previous post was at 04:10 PM ———-
Nux and Capable theme is a very beautiful piece, no idea why they left that off the OST.
And of course, the Chapter Doof (film mix) is badass!
Thanks To Ostgems I Aquired This Holy Grail.
And To Mark Isham I Got The OUAT Tracks I Seeked.
So Just Leaves.
Kingsman: The Secret Service Complete.

Not sure that I can say this is one of my holy grails.
EDIT:
Since we’re talking holy grail:
Ryuusei no Rockman & Ryuusei no Rockman Tribe – Shuhei Naruse [unreleased]
However as it have been ~7+ yrs… there will be no release… ever
(The only person ever to attempt to recompose the tracks’d be "crown-it-all" on Youtube.)
What a shame
Television: I’d love to get my hands on the library of cues written for Desperate Housewives. Again, samples have surfaced, but I’d love to just delve into the complete collection and grab all my favorite cues. Also, and this has never seen the light of day in any manner, the cues from Passions. That was a soap on NBC for 7 or so years. And man, that music was incredible. I managed to make a "fan rip" off some episodes, but this was before HD so the quality is absolute crap. I had emailed the composer and sadly, he wouldn’t budge. "I don’t have the rights…"
that and an amazingly old metal album, The nightcomers, by Holocaust.
As for the old metal LP, that was a nigh miraculous find in a garage sale.
Complete or at-least expanded releases of Murray Gold’s scores to Doctor Who series 1-4 + The Specials and a proper release of music from series 1. The rest already had 2 disks for the series + separate 1 disk releases for the respective Christmas specials, so I’m fine with those. (After series 8 got 3 disks I feel it would only be right for the previous series to get the same treatment, especially the early 1 disk releases)
Sam and Dan Watts’ complete scores to The Sarah Jane Adventures or just an official CD release of the score as the samples that were released have almost completely disappeared from the internet. (Both composers have said it’s very unlikely there will ever be an official release )
An official release of Murray Gold’s scores to Torchwood: Miracle Day. (No music from this series has ever been released despite the first 3 series having official soundtrack releases)
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice
Suicide Squad
Proberly Will Never Happen (None Of Them Will In My Sig) But Hey I Can Dream….. :ashine:
And with "Film Mix" I include some of the SFX (like in the end of "Extraction") and the Edit Piaf inserts.

Yeah, there’s also the "Interstellar" Recording Sessions, in lossless 😀
I have been lucky that most of my must haves from my youth have now appeared. (At least covering the missing tracks that were important to me)
Some of these were due to the re-issues on CD being able to allow more space than the original vinyl or cassette constraints of old. (These would be the most popular Star Wars/Star Trek/Indiana Jones etc)
Others because of limited run releases over the years from the specialist providers. These are usually the non-blockbusters but have a good following (The Last Starfighter/War Games etc)
I can only think of one left that hasn’t been released in any format and is looking unlikely to be now.
This is "Real Men" from 1987 by Miles Goodman. An OK movie but a excellent soundtrack. I would like to wrong though 🙂
Cinderella – Doyle
Wild Wild West – Bernstein
ButbI Had To Add To My Sig – Deadpool ~ Junxie XL
I would add "The Land Before Time" by James Horner, the tv show of "ALIAS" by Michael Giacchino, "Ex Machina" by Geoff Barrow & Ben Salisbury, "Mad Max: Fury Road" by Junkie XL, "Drive" by Cliff Martinez, "Eragon" by Patrick Doyle…
I actually have a lot of holy grails, beside the obvious ones, such as Star Wars or HP3 or Titanic
– The Borgias (Season 2 & 3) – Trevor Morris
Oh, yes! Someone else who loves The Borgia soundtrack! Highly underrated. It’s criminal season 2 & 3 weren’t released.
Also, I really wish Black Sails 2 & 3 would be released. There’s not much music out there with a pirate type sound. The uniqueness makes it valuable!
This Movie have a really great score & reminded me of scores like James Horner, John Debney & David Newman.
The movie itself is not so great but if you have the chance to see it please do it & listen to this great music.

I think there should be at least a 2 year minimum. That movie isn’t even 2 months old lol.
Maybe there’s be a score release planned but it’s just not at 100% yet.
Paramount figured out they’d incur a loss with that film months before it came out… so they probably didn’t want to spend even more money on a score album.
It’s probably one of this films that’s so bad yet has an amazing score.
The whole film was basically a two hour music video

Eh, the older I get the more it seems that my early impressions hold. After a while you just come to recognize what will stand your personal test of time without having to actually wait for the results.
I guess I’ll just put down Star Trek (2009) with complete chorus tracks.
Not the VS deluxe that’s missing the choir from the finale.

I’d also add Thomas Newman’s Skyfall.
That’s one of my favorite Bomd films and scores.
LOTR
ok
Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End – Hans Zimmer
Game Of Thrones (Season 1 – 7) – Ramin Djawadi
Star Wars: The Last Jedi – John Williams
How To Train Your Dragon 2 – John Powell
The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Aladdin – Alan Menken (including song instrumentals)
Digimon the Movie (complete) – Udi Harpaz and Amotz
Oliver and Company – JAC Redford
Chariots of Fire – Vangelis
La La Land (Song Instrumentals)
Gear:
An Elektron Analog Keys synth
Etc
Happy to help out
Those scores are pretty cool. So what do you mean by helping out
If he helps me out
Heard the masters were lost for My Bodyguard so that one may be a lost cause
Thomas Newman – The Adjustment Bureau
anything not released by Andrew Lockington (especially his latest works for TV series)
anything not released by Nicholas Hooper. God, I wish he hadn’t quit scoring….
Underrated composer!
Any of the Star Wars music
In terms of film, Chappie and Kung Fu Panda 3 top my list.
Great choice! Finally someone with a non-commercial pick.
That is gonna be an awesome collection so excited for it.
well i was lucky this year as i have had a few of my grails become avaliable… JL, BVS, WW, POTC: DMTNT….
Still at the top of mine is of course a lot of the Disney classics but still eager for :
Fantastic Beasts
Ant-man
Avengers 3
Mission Impossible Fallout
and of course more 😛
Ron Goodwin + Mancini – Frenzy Score
