This one is a whole arrangement of Super Catlevania 4 soundtrack into 2 cds (if want to burn them like that. ;)), Being one of my favorite Castlevania games in therms of music, this album nails it to the top the love I have for this soundtrack. This Arrange also proves to me that… Mirror of fate was indeed trying to sound like Super Castlevania 4. If I could hack my 3ds game, I would put this soundtrack instead.
This arrange album is much less mish-mash-up of styles and more straight to it’s point of being more orchestral with electric guitar and some electronic works. The difference between this one and the last, is that this album has an Identity. You don’t have mix of styles just because it sounds nice or anything. It goes full orchestral score with other added elements, giving a personality of his own.
Since Metroid’s Harmony of Hunter albums, Sam Dillard has to be the one guy who has owning me in total matter of orchestral tracks. and This album is no exception.
This time, Vampire Variations was released by OCREMIX (http://ocremix.org/), and they also released the whole trilogy albums with new artwork.

This one needs lot of love indeed. Might sound like I am taking sides though. This might be easily my favorite of the 3. I was disappointed with the arrange of my favorite track of Castlevania in the last release, "Iron Blue Intention". Knowing that is my favorite song, and I did not like the treatment it had, I was a bit afraid of what to expect of this. Seems like I faced fear by the Tooth. 🙂

My 31st October are always spent hearing all my castlevania discography, 24h. Been doing this since 2003, and I manage to grab Castlevania music. 🙂
