I’m back…at least to make this one little post.

The final James Horner-composed film "The 33" is currently in theaters, but it was also made available online via certain international iTunes stores.

I extracted this, the end title music in 5.1 surround to make available here.

Please note:

iTunes encodes their 5.1 audio in a LOSSY Dolby Digital ac3 at 384kbps. I edited this in Audacity and saved it as a multichannel WAV file, and compressed it to FLAC for sharing purposes.

It’s an interesting mix, which is why I’m sharing it here.

The end titles of the film are comprised of the final two cues of the soundtrack album:

"The 33"
"Hope is Love"

The latter cue is essentially a wonderful little musical farewell. Unintended of course, but this piece of music that closes the album and the film score was appropriate to consider James Horner’s final goodbye.

Thanks.

Too bad though that Horner’s farewell score was one of his least memorable.
