Here’s what the originator and compiler of ‘The Crime Jazz Definitive Collection’ THXjay had to say about ‘Reg Tilsley’:
Taken from the back of Volume 14 ‘Reg Tilsley in Action.’
"Reg Tilsley is one of the most under-appreciated and represented of all the great Library composers.
Virtually nothing can be found by searching his name online (surely a very rare occurence these days) so no biography will be featured here just a collection of his music, which I’m sure you will agree speaks for itself.
The quality of his ouput at the DeWolfe Music Production library is second to none and he also ventured into many other genre’s and styles."
Am downloading now, but know I won’t be dissappionted.
Many thanks.
Listening to it the third album (Tilsley Orchestral 3 Strings And Things(1968)) now.
Really great.
This is a gold mine. Really takes me back to the old days, the tv series and films of that time.
Many thanks.
This thread is a done-deal hit.

Thanks Guideff! I’ll be posting more of his LPs next week.
Reg Tilsley is rare but to find anything lossless is incredibly rare. Along with Syd Dale, he was always the the library composer that I enjoyed discovering new albums from.
Thanks for the FLAC, you’re a diamond!
Really looking forward to future shares 😉
nice collection !
🙂
Cool and at times very jazzy.
Thanks a lot.
I can see even more great albums coming, from here, our way.
I’ll get busy preparing the next batch this weekend.
This album is certainly ‘classics for the masses’.
Great stuff. Thanks.

Looking forward to these (after I’ve finished with your new ‘March’ additions, that is.
Thanks in advance for these.
More well deserved rep points should be coming your way (after a spread round of some points elsewhere first – it’s a bugger having to do that).
Anyway, thanks.
Really brings back the 60’s – 70’s tv and movie sound.
Excellent stuff.
Great additions. Keep ’em comin’.
Many thanks, Appreciated.

I had trouble uploading this file on MEGA.
Could spend all day listening to this stuff.
A rare collection.
Many of these recordings I didn’t already have, but they’re all upgrades either way because they’re lossless.
Thanks for telling me about your thread!!
