From what I’m hearing, this is a much stronger effort than the first Noragami soundtrack. But the first and last six songs on the 2nd disc appear to be done by some groups other than Iwasaki? The first six are by MOKA while the last six are done by "Electrocutica". Has Iwasaki collaborated with these guys in the past?

@Nature00Angel @The Zipper And finally someone file a fake Copyright claim. Avex is known for been pretty cool about their ost’s been upload it on youtube. What gives it away is the fact that many videos are still up by different people, usually when they claim one video they go for everyone.

Yeah that’s really weird.. It’s probably because of the Muslim drama. Fairy Tail OST 5 is still up in youtube after 6months and it’s from the same publisher (Avex).. I bet none of this would have happen if the track would have been about Christian religion but of course things gets messy when it’s about religion of Islam.

I don’t want to comment much about this but I find the whole situation really sad.

Because we defend our religion, that is why, and dont blame Islam, blame the people, :D. If you pitch the song you wont get a copyright claim, i will re-upload it today i think with out push buttons!!!!

The production committee of Noragami Aragoto, in a press release announced to withdraw stores the second Soundtrack of the series called "Noragami Aragoto Original Soundtrack Noragami no Oto 2", the reason is that it contains "Islamic sounds" that were used inappropriately, also they announced that delayed the departure of the first DVD and BR to remove the music from the series

"At no time in the production process was our intention of insulting Islam or its followers, or to commit sacrilege, with the use of sound," "however, we had not confirmed the significance of these sounds, and the result was a disregard for Islam and its followers. " The production committee apologized to Muslims and other stakeholders, and promised to show more consideration and caution in the future.

The soundtrack was released with the label Avex last November 25, the first volume of the DVD and BR would be launched this December 18, but not yet confirmed the new date

Should all the music that contain other religion prayers be altered too? Never understood how certain religion is any better than the rest.

Whatever the case, I just hope this whole dumb controversy doesn’t have an adverse effect on Iwasaki’s career.

I’m pretty certain this entire situation was unintentional. Iwasaki is one of those guys who doesn’t really think about the stuff he puts in his music. He probably thought the prayer would sound good in dubstep and that’s all there is too it. Though I do have a lingering suspicion that the title being called "Push Buttons" might be a cheeky way of him saying he DID intend it (since ALOT of people had their buttons pressed) but I’m 99% sure that isn’t the case.

Since the release of the anime got pushed back this will definitely have an effect on the sales of the series though which sucks considering it barely did average last season. I don’t think people realize that this doesn’t just effect people who wanted this album, it effects the anime too.

It contains lyrics "Kyrie Eleison, Christe Eleison" which are very important for every one being Christian but noone was angry about it and there weren’t any argues with him, that he hurted anybody’s religion feelings (when some people probably could do it). Each religion have their pride and feelings but I bet that this composer didn’t want to offend anybody.

*fat guitar from "Gatchaman Crowds"
*Jormungand from "Jormungand"
*Bondage Head from "C the money of soul"
Also I think that we should wait for official statement from Iwasaki and maybe his apologize.

The BGM was used in episode 1 so they had 2 months to complain. If noone uploaded it to youtube, it probably wouldn’t even be a thing because (going by those posts on twitter and youtube comments) those who complained certainly didn’t purchase the OST.

Yes, yes…I agree with You and said that he will "maybe" have to apologize. However I don’t think so it will happen because as You say that is his music. I rather wanted to show that he did something similiar with "Kyrie" and now with "Push buttons". 😀
