I’ve thought about that too, he’s done music for all of Camelot’s games for the past decade and a half so I wonder if he has any connections with them. Maybe Camelot just likes Sakuraba a lot.

The coordinator and sound director of Camelot is Masaaki Uno. That guy was the first composer of Wolfteam (composed Arcus 1 and Yaksa) before he hired Motoi Sakuraba (who didn’t do game music before). Uno left Wolfteam and afaik co-founded Camelot in 1994 as he has been there from the beginning.
