J. Williams – Jaws (Intrada)

The previous request thread was closed and if such becomes the case with this one, so be it.

Like nearly everyone in the film score community, this score is one of my top-favorite and it bums me out that like many amazing score releases this year that I haven’t been able to afford, this release is no exception. I had heard this was coming but, thought I had more time to save up. I’ll have the money to buy my own copy in a couple of weeks if some kind soul would be so gracious to upload their copy (in 320 MP3 or FLAC, I don’t care which) whenever they get it.

My cousin got to meet John Williams (and even Ian McKellen) when he was in band/theatre before he changed his sights and became a law enforcement official. He introduced me to orchestral music and the works of John Williams. I would love to get this to him for a Thanksgiving gift.

I placed my order last week with Intrada, and got an email reply back from them stating they they are sooooo swamped with orders for JAWS, JAWS 2, and all BACK TO THE FUTURE orders they it would be a week or so before mine even got shipped out. BUMMER!!! They asked if I wanted to cancel my order and I replied…NO!! DON’T CANCEL MY ORDER!! Haven’t heard back from them yet. I’m just waiting and looking like you for some kind soul to post their copy who has one in FLAC.

It’s been a week since I heard from Intrada. They told me last week it would probably ship this week or next. Hopefully somebody will get theirs soon and post in FLAC/LOSSLESS. 🙂

I honestly can’t wait for this release to drop out here. Loved the Intrada web samples.

Oh, well then I did get that email, I think that was more an announcement than a personal email.

I got my shipping notice today. I’m sure they’re rolling out now.

I’m wondering when JAWS was actually release or if it’s just being released now. Anybody know…can’t seem to find it on their website, but I thought I saw somewhere it was being released Dec 1st. Idk.

Mine too, the release was last Monday.

…and still nobody has gotten their JAWS CD yet to post? I’m still waiting for mine to be shipped. Every time I call Intrada, they tell me to be patient due to being swamped with orders to fill. My question is…Did Intrada not anticipate the orders being placed were going to be big due to the titles they were releasing. Going on two weeks since I placed my order and still waiting. :/
