What a wonderfully sweet and bizzare collection! As a big Price fan, I’m surprised to hear of his cookbook only now; will need to track down a copy 🙂

I just watched His Kind of Woman, in which Price has a terrific supporting role as an enthusiastic and pretentious actor who’s at a Mexican resort to hunt. There’s a great scene where Price is whipping up some exotic meal in the kitchen of his bungalow.

A rare book seller that I used to frequent last year posted his year end "wants list" from his customers. The single most sought-after book of the year (said list including some world-class sought-after books, and "Sex", by Madonna ??, was Vincent Price’s cookbook. Which I bought way back when, when it was new and highly recommended by none other than Craig Claiborne. Great, classic cookbook, by the way. Can’t wait to hear this. Thanks!!
