What are the best music players?

foobar and Aimp I would say.

I am using Nemp – Noch ein Mp3-Player (http://www.gausi.de/nemp-en.html) and I like it a lot.

Sounds and loosk very good, I just will try it out.

I’d recommend J river media center if you are willing to invest and mediamonkey for a free one.

I’m a foobar2000 user and I find it to be much more "reactive" than Winamp, not to mention I still have easy access to every playlist I may come up with, a built-in converter, support for more audio formats… I don’t miss Winamp at all (and I’ve used the latter for years).

I’ve been using foobar2000 for a few years now and haven’t had the need for a feature that isn’t available to it yet.

The only negative point about it is that I’ve found my playlists getting corrupted quite frequently if my PC shuts down improperly while foobar is running.
Learned from my mistakes and started backing up the playlists frequently.
