What is a "GL8" set? Googling it just comes up with a bunch of old NES and SNES soundtracks.

Also, why would I need one of these sets if I have the SD3 OST in .spc format?

There are sets of game music files that have VBR-GL8 in the names. Those are made by the same people the same way. Most of these can be found by Torrent Searching "GL8". I called them the GL8 sets. I collect many "sets" of music files of many games. I must have like 35 downloads of the Super Mario 64 music.

SPCs to me are great and I might make some from the SNESMUSIC downloads. A long time ago I uploaded one of Tetris Attack.

There is one torrent that is BIG (5gig) and full of many GL8 sets. Missed the original seeding when it came out many years ago. Waiting to get beyond 63%. Every Seiken Densetsu 3 file is available.

Might reupload the item of this thread in a few days. Stupid slow upload ISPs.

So GL8 is the name of a ripping group? What makes their method different and/or better than the other rips (especially the FLAC or SPC ones) floating around out there?
