Most of the Robotech Soundtracks here are RARE and have been Out-of-print from 1985-2015, and all the Original Robotech Soundtracks made available in one thread, and comes from my personal collection. This is the Ultimate Robotech Soundtrack Thread. This thread is for the many fans who have kept Robotech alive from its inception and for years to come.

BONUS DISCS: Are available, please let me know if you want the entire collection or be specific of what you would like.

Over the last five years, Harmony Gold has been redoing an inventory of its media vaults and found several audio tapes that were previously unknown or thought to be lost. About Macross Japanese soundtrack composed by the great Kentar??? Haneda, if you have Macross The Complete, you already have all classic TV series and Do You Remember Love movie soundtrack. Because Macross The Complete contains all previous standalone albums content on disc 1 and first part of disc 2 plus all unrealized material on second part of disc 2 (karaoke versions) and disc 3 (other songs and all unrealized TV and movie BGMs). That’s why it’s called ‘Complete’.

I boxed the cases up long ago and put these discs in those tall DVD thin cases, so I don’t have the cover art.

Sadly I don’t have any Gatchaman. I remember the series and it was on TV for a few eps. before it vanished from TV (but this was ages ago, before digital TV, PS One, etc.)

Me too… same problem:

When you click on the name "Reppa35" and a little window appears, the only three options that displays are: "View Profile", "Add as Contact" and "View forum Posts".
Nothing about PM (private message).

On the other hand, if you enter in reppa35’s profile, the few options are: "Add as Friend", "Add to Ignore List", "Find latest posts", "Find latest started threads" and "View Conversations".

It seems there is not PM feature for us.

FRIGGIN AMAZING! They finally released the movie version of Robotech’s theme (for the Sentinels movie and the Untold Story movie), which is by far the best version of it (better even than in the series). I moved heaven and earth trying to find a good quality version of it, downloading ISOs of the awful movies and everything, wishing it was with good quality somewhere, without any luck at all. And they finally decided to release it in this CD! There’s even some song from Minmay I never heard before or didn’t remember about. Really amazing. Thanks a lot for sharing this, reppa, this is really a treasure.

So, I noticed that some of the booklets (four of them, to be exact) were uncropped scans in pdf format. In case anyone cares, I converted them to images, rotated as needed and cropped them properly. I saved them as .png images, in order to avoid losing any further quality. Here they are.

I’ve had time to listen to the OSTs. They are quite good. I really liked them. 🙂

For the instrumental stuff I had to download some of the episodes to understand where they fit in.
I liked what I saw, and am in the process of looking for a used version on Amazon of then entire series to buy.

To KusanagiShiro, When I PM and send the links to you, each heading had its own subject link. For example, the main links were Robotech 30th, Bonus link were all the links relating the bonuses, etc.. I hope this helps you out. When you click on each link, the file does come up with the name of the folder, and so on. Were you able to understand when you started to click on the links or have you not downloaded the soundtracks yet? Thanks

BTW, anyone ever stumbled upon Robotech: BGM Collection, Vol.1? Never seen it anywhere, I believe it contains that track of attacking the Tirol capital, which was awesome to listen.

To toykyle, NO I don’t believe so. According to HG these new tracks in the 30th Deluxe 3 CD Set, thought to be lost Audio Tracks from Robotech II the Sentinels and other Audios tracks unearthed goodies. I love this edition the best. It has We Will Win Extended Verse in the song itself. Its a really Awesome Deluxe Set. I highly Recommend it. Hope this helped you out?

The 30th was really an undertaking by HG. I thought they did the best on this release. I am so elated that HG released the 30th. It just keeps on getting better.

To darkspire17, If you are referring to THE SENTINELS music, that can be found in the latest Robotech 30th Anniv Deluxe CD. However, if you are referring to THE SENTINELS movie, locating a good quality is hard. The only thing I have of THE SENTINELS is my original Laserdisc copy.

This show made made me cry at the end of (Macross) back in the day. Beautiful songs and such a great story that really I wish more people had experienced. Now the live action movie is on the horizon and I don’t know whether to feel celebratory or apprehensive….while I want the franchise to succeed, I don’t want to see it diluted and diminished either. To Yazaowi, you and me both, I cried as well. This show alone had an impact on me that no other show had done at the time. And Robotech has always had a special place in my heart even to this day. It has ALL the elements that make up a great story, with music, and songs and the characters we ALL (the fans, you and me) love and remembered. And this is why I make this a special thread to all the fans who have kept Robotach alive. Regarding the action films procured by Sony, its my understanding that Harmony Gold is wanting to keep the heart and soul of Robotech that made the show so successful intact and their legal team is stipulating this to Sony in the agreement/arrangement. I feel strongly that Harmony Gold will make sure that Sony and their writers will not in anyway ruin what this show is to so many thus far and that the action films from animation to film, the elements will be there. Let’s keep the faith my friend. And thanks for sharing your story. Go Robotech Defense Force!

Michael Bradley is a very talented singer and writer and very known around the world. His voice is part of the Robotech universe. Its a shame.

I never grew up with Robotech, but found the McKinnley novels and fell in love with them; bought and read them all several times, THEN found out after the internet was born that this was not a book series but rather an anime! Nice surprise.

To bricon, I know the PM is hidden within the settings. I think you have a give a few posts and reputations in order for the PM to activate if memory serves. Or you can just PM me directly by clicking on my name and PM me from there. Yes I have all the Robotech OST is Flac format and great quality and comes from my personal collection. The McKinnley novels were a great read. The McKinnley novels were a result of the failed Robotech 2 the Sentinels series of 55 episodes and only 3 episodes were made and produced into a movie and due to the popularity of the show thus the McKinnley novels were commissioned to help fill in many story gaps from the Carl Macek story he started in 1983 at Harmony Gold. To this day Robotech to me is still favorite TV show of all time with outstanding original music that will last forever.

If it is possible for you,
Is there any way to help me to find the OST of the "Lenaman: the secret of the lens" and "Lensman: the power of the lens"?
Could you please guide me or help if you have them?
I want the one that was created by Harmony Gold, where the soundtracks are the same as the ones in the Robotech II the Sentinels! Some of them are not available in the Robotech 30th anniversary OST collection!

I will be thankful and grateful.

that music is lost, harmony gold dosent own it, likley they where destroyed when their archive was flooded in the 90’s, ive tried sequencing the music with no luck, michael bradley once streamed them online but their are no recordings of said stream, a freind of mine contacted the composer for the lenseman dub and he said he wasent willing to find his lost tapes in his attic, its sad that we wont get a release of thoes synth tracks, they where all written for CAPTIAN HARLOCK and reused in sentinels, the movie, and other harmony gold projects. all reppa did is upload the official harmony gold albums, he dosent own the master tapes bud, it is sad.

Thanks a ton reppa35! I’ve been looking for flac versions of these songs for ever! I love Robotech! Despite what anyone might say I think its greater then the sum of its parts. I think they did an epic job merging all those into one series. I really wish we could see the sentinels completed and more Shadow Chronicles.

Actually, reppa, I DO have PM turned on in settings (I have visitor messaging turned on; however, if that is NOT the PM settings, then you can direct me to where I CAN turn on PM). But, I recently checked the PM system (http://forums.ffshrine.org/private.php) through the link in the FAQ & came across a page with THIS message:

RobotechFan, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else’s post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

As far as #1, I’m NOT trying to edit someone else’s post; I don’t know if the PM system is administrative features or if it’s some other privileged system. As far as #2, I believe my account has been activated. So, any help with getting PM open on my end would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch! The links you sent enabled me to pretty much finish my Robotech music collection. And, yes, I added to your reputation.

The thing is, I started watching the 85-episode series around 5 months ago, then proceeded to watch The Movie (a.k.a. The Untold Story), The Sentinels, The Shadow Chronicles, & Love, Live, Alive starting from this past Friday night up until last night. It was because I started watching the series that I decided to get as many of the related music albums as possible. Also, I pretty much intend on watching the live-action movie, whenever it ends up being released.

Robotech is the name the anime Macross was given in America, except that weird last season which has nothing to do with Macross… so be careful when watching the dub.
America figured since both were created by the same person, they had to be related and slapped them into one anime/series, plus a strange unrelated sequel.

hi, i tried looking at the settings but can’t figure out which one opens the PM. i have visitor messaging on & Don’t limit usage of Visitor Messages. but i don’t know what vCard Download does.

i also can’t find any method to send pm…

I like the remastered 30th anniversary edition but I would’ve loved it to include "Underground" and "Saved by science". IMO of course! 🙂
