Joseph K. awakes one morning, to find two strange men in his room, telling him he has been arrested. Joseph is not told what he is charged with, and despite being "arrested," is allowed to remain free and go to work. But despite the strange nature of his arrest, Joseph soon learns that his trial, however odd, is very real, and tries desperately to spare himself from the court’s judgement.

American composer and conductor who has been living in the UK since 1961, born October 28, 1936, in New York City.
He is a conductor with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and regularly conducts the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

Wow! I love Kafka. I love Carl Davis. But I had no idea that Carl Davis has worked on an adaptation of "The Trial" (starring another favorite of mine)! I can’t wait to listen to this (and will need to track down the film too).
