Account Deletion

I want to delete my account. I found nothing in the faqs related to it. So how do I delete my account?

Deletions of account(s) don’t happen around here.

That’s just…. bad.
It should be possible in every databases and services that store accounts, to delete all the information related to one user.

I’m sure it’s technically possible to do that here, too, higher-ups don’t do it for a few technical reasons (from what I understand, actual removal of accounts may screw up the search function even more); I suggest a change of password/e-mail "linked" to the account and then to forget about its existence.
