All the other versions appearing, regardless of how long, and how many alts/"Film Mixes" (lol) they’ve had, has all been total bs versions.

The only piece still missing from the film is a short insert or alt at the end of The Chase, but other than that, it’s fully complete.

However, this do have some issues. First of all not all cues are clean, as in they’ve been edited to fade into eachother (or edited in some other way) (like some of those old fan made versions). So you’ll need to take some cues from the 27 track version to get all cues clean.

After listening to the 2-disc complete recording sessions… it was like riding on a non-stop roller coaster. Not one single flaw, thus staying true to the film. The Rock Complete Recording Sessions is 100% legit… Nick, Hans, and Harry had done an outstanding job. Overall: A+++

"Film Mixes" (lol)

I’m in the camp that prefers film versions of music most of the time, or both film mixes and separate tracks when available. I don’t understand what’s funny about that.

My "lol" was referring to the cases where you have a simple edit, as in cut and paste, to match the scene in the film. Not as in fade together cues, which may, in some cases, be a better listening experience. But where it’s removed some seconds here and some seconds there (again, to fit the pictures), which not necessarily make it a good listening experience. In this case, with The Rock, that’s what’s been done on some pieces, and what some people have edited, and named as "film versions", or alts, or somehting … when they’re still the exact same version (mix), only simply cutted to match the scene. imho that doesn’t make it a different version.

On the other hand, just to make it clear, when it’s actual different music (version/mix) used in the film vs. what you have on the ost, or complete/sessions, I of course too would like to have all different versions as well 🙂

Here are some alternative covers for The Rock (Recording Sessions).
There aren’t lot of Posters for the movie so I took the poster from Patrick Connan (http://hcgart.com/products/the-rock-green-variant-by-barbarian-factory-patrick-connan)
It was a long artwork which didn’t fit for a cover.
Had to cut the bottom part which I liked the most but keeping it would make the whole artwork smaller.
Picture quality is not the best since there isn’t a high res one
