This is a song collection by a variety of artists inspired by the Powerpuff Girls. Other than the opening and closing credits, these tunes were not part of the show. See Powerpuff Girls: The City of Soundsville for instrumental pieces based on the actual music for the show.
Furthermore, for a show that ran as long as Powerpuff Girls did, one CD would at best, have only a small fraction of the music used on the show. Not to mention when this album was released in 2000, the show still had another five years to go.
