So, family showed up.
Visited friends.
Lost a lot of sleep.

Exceeded my monthly data limit with my ISP.

Found a bunch of isolated scores demuxed from DVD (AC3).
Got lots to edit here while I have to cut down on downloading/uploading until the internet bill turns over.

Bought "Children of the Nile" (and "Alexandria") on Steam. The Enhanced version.

Discovered a problem with indexing movies on Solid State Drives that affect playback and frame corruption (both FFSM2 and DGdecNV show frame corruption if the movie is not in contiguous free space; have to use Raxco’s PerfectDisk "SSD Optimize" to free blocks, separate process from trim).

Demuxed several blurays I had planned to have screenshots for the past weeked but will have to do over time, slowly.

Updated music library on my Android and spent about 5 minutes scanning everything with ReplayGain.
I need to sort a new folder for random score music to put on there instead of full albums: "ScoreBox" (variant of "JukeBox" for commercial, pop songs that are not score music).

Been converting some old HD trailers I had lying around on my externals.
Experimented to see if they are really fullrange or not.
They’re not. Some people say they are, but after proper encoding, the black pixels get washed out to whiter shades of black.
So back to the drawing board on those ones. Maybe clip luma levels to at least Y=9.

Installed Vapoursynth to play with.
Will require a whole week of reading and expirmenting before I can learn how to work with it properly. :confused:

I also started playing with FLACCL (formerly "FLACcuda").
It’s now named FLAC CL because it relies on OpenCL now, so AMD, Intel and NVidia users can use it.
For simple stereo, 2.5 times faster than Intel Compiled builds of flac.exe (ICL).
For 5.1, about 0.1x more faster.

And things still getting busier with everyone wanting to move and such.

Also, we had a major power outage here in the Lowe Mainland due to a severe weather storm.
Mostly wind.

Some grizzly bears escaped their pen when their fences got knocked down, plus other animals.
Some people got trapped in their car when trees got blown over.
Some people injured, some critically.

Going back and forth to my friend’s place to charge my phone over there and check up on family.

Finally things are somewhat back to normal.

Okay so….

I made a pretty decent trade with someone.

I superglued my workshoes back onto their soles.

I received a promotion at work, I never have to wear a fucking hat again.

There was a massive power outtage all over the west coast last night, due to
heavy winds and rain. but it didn’t reach my house, thankfully 😉

I made a new friend, her name is Keya.

I am still currently in massive debt from this year, but my birthday is coming
up and I asked everyone for money for school. They don’t know where it’s actually
going, though…

Bank Holiday Monday today. Did fuck all. Wasted the whole day. Shit.

So I lost internet for a day and a half and just got it back today.

Upgraded plan (maximum allowed) and upgraded modem! Supports 5G wireless!!!
I shouldn’t get any drops or lower speeds in my room now!
