From the Decca soundtrack LP. One side is music-only. The flip side is the same music with John Wayne narrating the film story with some film excerpts. Not my rip.
The music-only side was eventually released by Varese and Disques Cinemusique. Neither release included all of the music/narration side from the LP (it’s not necessary unless you’re a John Wayne fan or vinyl completest), but you get that entire side here, pardner.
I’m not familiar with Emil Newman’s style. The music sounds mostly like Friedhofer to me.
