Hans-Zimmer.com is such a strange website. I’ve never quite understood who runs it, who in the composer world knows it exists, where they get their information from, etc. It’s like an unofficial official site. Can anybody clarify any of this?!

Oh, really? I didn’t know any of that. Interesting. So does Hans know about the leaks of his sessions? I know HZ.com doesn’t actually provide links to stuff, but are the people behind the site behind any of the leaks that get out?

I believe someone in here went to visit and meet Hans and told him about the leaks and he said he didn’t understand why people wanted the recording sessions so much, they should be happy with the albums.

I hope they explained to him why we want sessions so badly – BECAUSE WE LOVE THE MUSIC AND WANT IT ALL!!!! It’s actually pretty simple, Hans. We’re not happy with mashed up, spliced, remixed versions of 50% of a score.

I was told, Hans himself does know about the leaks of his work. But he never cares about that!

But basically the stuff on the site – specifically Hannibal – can’t actually be downloaded and exists as a (fake?) track listing only?

If he really said that about the albums, he’s stupid. It’s simple: we don’t need anyone to pick and choose for us which cues we can have. Period. And if anyone ever (pubcliy or privately) starts being dramatic about any Zimmer leak again, I know I don’t have to give a fuck.

If a bootleg is listed (in any form) on Hans-Zimmer.com then it is not ‘fake’.

Well yeah, 20 years ago that is, in the era of promo CDs. Lol.

Nowadays once he’s finished on a project he archives it and moves onto the next one. Once he finishes a score he doesn’t look back, basically.

The comments say "it’s fake" because those comments are from older pages on the site, plus if you read the dates and some of the other comments it makes no sense to the score associated. Plus the comments are years old.

They are most likely sending cues that have sfx in them ripped from the Blu-Ray, or possibly tried to edit cues utilizing the OST.

And no that’s not all you have to do, Cody can speak for himself if he wants to.

Never heard this score before, but 0:36 reminded me of part of the Electro battle in Times Sq from ASM2. The rhythm and notes are very similar. :p

I know about Shark Tale, but I haven’t seen it. I’d only watch it if someone offered me �50. I never realised Zimmer had scored it. Is the music any good? I guess it probably is. Is it really a holy grail??
