Now Iwasaki even uses Vocaloid… amidst all the modern trends and styles there is still his usual quality and craft underneath, if you combine that with the other Gatchaman albums you have quite a lot of delightful string pieces, decent action tracks and even a beautiful song. He just can’t disappoint me these days…

Finally got a chance to listen to this. Seems this album is packed with more slice of lice stuff than the others. I still enjoy that stuff from Taku of course but I just didn’t get as thrilled as I did with the first Gatchaman OST. Given how great that album is though he’d be hard pressed on topping it I suppose. I love the Gatchaman remixes especially "Gatchaman Make my day". And stuff like "Passion" is classic Taku. Still lots of things to like here.

Also did anyone else think "in exchange for my life….." sounds an awful lot like "Time" from Inception?

First things first, big thanks to leatherhead for sharing this!

Second, I’m not sure if my mood is quite right these days or something but I don’t really like this OST. Seems a bit too much like filler material. Just a few tracks I enjoy in, the rest is easily forgettable.

I hope Iwasaki brings more of a bang for Noragami’s second season.
