Audio recordings of the world premiere of Final Symphony II performed on August 29th 2015 (yesterday evening while writing this) in Bonn, Germany at the Beethovenhalle by the Beethoven Orchester Bonn.
Recording was done "secretly" with a mobile phone, but I think it turned out pretty well for such a recording, format and quality is MP3/320 kbps.

The first encore was very funny, it begins with Battle on the Big Bridge from Final Fantasy V and the person screaming "Hey" in the middle of the song is the conductor who pretended to be upset about the person playing the tuba. The tuba player pretended to fool around a little and all the other musicians to not know whats going on and looked puzzled on their scores. Then the tuba player began with the Chocobo theme and when the crowd started to clap the conductor always made them stop but in the end he pretended to give up and they played a funny mix of Battle on the Big Bridge and the Chocobo theme 😀
I hope the makers of the Final Symphony series don’t mind, since such a recording is in no way a replacement for a real concert (and the coming ones I heard are already sold out for a while anyway) or album I don’t think sharing such a recording causes any harm. But mor importantly having a chance to listen to the concert again is just essential to realy understand the great but sometimes complex arrangements and it is realy hard to recognize all the themes and understand the way they are sometimes combined. Since it took them long enough to release the album for Final Symphony I, I want to give people who attented the concert a chance to analyse the arrangements more, if they wish to do so.
The idea of the Final Symphony concerts is not to play the themes as close as possible to the OST like the Distant Worlds concerts, but want to go a step further and arrange the themes like in a classical symphony and tell the stories from the game. They also use no big screens like Distand Worlds and other game concerts do, they only want to use music to tell the story.
🙂
The strange thing is, that I’ve no spikes at the parts that are clipped (in Audacity). The difference after using all kinds of declipper software was exactly 0.
Maybe it was a bad idea to activate the integrated limiter.
So I really hope yours is better than mine. Would be nice to get the links.
EDIT:
with a mobile phone
… or maybe not better. I did use a Zoom H2n.
super envious since i never heard that there was an announcement for this one here-.-
so no one has recorded it on the radio? usually the do a live on radio so thats what makes me wonder about it this time.
Attended the concert live, it was absolutely fantastic.
Could you send me the link in PM please ?
Many Thanks in advance 🙂
May I have the link please ? Thank you ! 🙂
Thanks!
Also it seems that I can’t send a pm to some people, I guess because they are people with newly created accounts? What are the requirements to receive (and send?) pm?
So I do a request to add you as friend. I suppose that’s ok next to write PM.
I hope so ! 🙂
If this is right I should be able to PM you right after this post, let’s see what happens…
Edit:
Now it works, I guess you have to write at least 10 posts.
Thanks anycase !
I also read the FAQs and looked around for answers in the forum (where I read about the number of posts you suppossedly needed), but I still don’t get how this works…anybody, please explain.
edit: my bad I misread the thread, apologies! Forget what I said.
I can’t send you a pm right now, I guess you need to write a few more posts first.
Thank You…
the rule has always been 5 posts, but I have a feeling the admins might be enabling the accounts for pm manually or so and maybe they switched to 10…
oh, and very nice listening to this 🙂
Thanks in advance everyone !
Many Thanks
Was fun to check my pm all the time the last days and thanks for the positive feedback, glad that the audio quality turned out that well and people like that lind or arrangements as much as I did, please Spielemusikkonzerte make sure this gets out as an album sooner than Final Symphony 1 did 🙂
I emailed Mr. Bcker about an official release. He said that he really wanted to make one, but they did not yet have clear plans because it is so expensive to do a proper recording.
And finally, it’s a question we get all the time: will there be a Final Symphony II album? Of course we are eager to record one, and while at present there is no official confirmation, we are very keen to make it happen – watch this space!
In my memories: for Final Symphony it startet the same way.
And now we have a digital album on iTunes (https://itunes.apple.com/de/album/final-symphony-music-from/id965183547), Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TYMD07K/184-1942228-8000814?ie=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0) and Google Music (https://play.google.com/store/music/album/London_Symphony_Orchestra_Final_Symphony_Music_Fro ?id=Bqlirsvx3q4gjruzsfdkjlv65jy) to a very low price ($/€ 8.99) for 95 minutes orchestra music. I did expect something around 20 to 30 bucks for it.
To shorten the time of waiting, I will present my listening from the world premiere in Bonn. I really hoped someone else would have a better one, as this one has some strange clipping in it. I’ve tried some ways of declipping, but they all failed completely.

But remember to support this fantastic music, when an album gets released.
