I was hoping you’d do a release of this!
Thanks very much.
Hopefully this can tide me over until I can afford to buy myself one =D Thanks suuuuuper much =D
Could somebody make a list that matches up these "friendly" track names with the original file names?
But Is the game even out?
But Is the game even out?
In europe and japan Yes…
Also I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned, but how exactly do you pronounce !!!!!?
Like if you were saying in real life "I just downloaded this from !!!!!", would you say "exclamation point exclamation point exclamation point exclamation point exclamation point", or "chk chk chk chk chk" or "that guy who’s name is 5 exclamation marks/points that I don’t know how to pronounce"?

And what about
Surprise-man because he surprised us every time….Argh that suck so much….
Or just say I download from this place….

Anyone who knows (or thinks they know) the answer!
In my head, I think I pronounce it [YOU CANNOT GRASP THE TRUE FORM OF THIS SOUND].
Convert the FLAC files to MP3. It’s something with the sample rate that iTunes doesn’t like.
Thanks for the help
-The following tracks have been replaced by ones of better quality
1-01 Welcome to Yoshi’s Woolly World!
1-02 Title
1-03 Craft Island
1-06 Yarn Yoshi Takes Shape!
2-02 Yoshi and Cookies
2-17 Up Shuttlethread Pass
3-15 Staff Roll
3-17 Wonderful World of Wool – World 2
-Added a new track "3-32 Scrapbook Theater (Alternate Ver.)"
Thanks! This is already tied with the original SNES game as my favorite Yoshi soundtrack, the "Wario Land: Shake It!" influence in some of the tracks (especially the Boss Themes) really sold it for me.
Same composer and I find Wario Land Shake It to be much better though the music here is nice. Too bad with every remake of Yoshi’s Island from Yoshi’s Story to this game, they always fail to top Koji Kondo’s final boss track. The least they can do with all these "remakes" is rip off that song.
What I found confusing with the rip, is that there are sometimes 2, 3, or even 4 different files with the same tunes, sometimes slightly different, others, are noticeably different. There are two almost completely different sounding "Clawdaddy Beach" tunes, one is lower pitch, with slightly different instruments. There’s also a variation of Yarn Yoshi Takes Shape!, and so on.
It’s the way they probably complied builds of the game the general, leaving all the placeholder/prototype music intact.
Also I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned, but how exactly do you pronounce !!!!!?
It’s text so you really don’t have to pronounce it at all.
Just curious, but did Nintendo make this 32000 Hz like most of their other music?
Yes for the most part though there are a few tracks at 44 & 48khz. I mean 48khz PCM in 2015? Now that was a drastic oversight and someone should be getting fired.
Pretty sure the first "Kamek’s Theme" should be "Kamek’s Arrival".
EDIT: Actually you’re right. I didn’t notice the two "Kamek’s Theme"s at first.
link is dead
Was replacing it with the updated version. It’s up now.
How many times do I have to say this? It has NOTHING to do with the sample rate. I have played many MP3s with the same sample rates and they play perfectly. It’s not the sample rate, it’s how they are encoded most likely.
Converting to a different codec does absolutely nothing…
Thanks anyways, also thanks in advance.
-Various track tags changed
-Scaled volume of certain low tracks
Every track was edited in some minor way so there is no separate update.
None of the files appear to be available, not even the update files. Perhaps you could fix it?
Thanks anyways, also thanks in advance.
Re-uploaded!
I always thought my converter forced 48kHz but that is not the case, sorry!
The only fix for this issue I know of is to change the Hz/khz/sample rate in Audacity. iTunes makes files with 32000 Hz sound distorted, so it’s only logical to raise that rate to 44000 Hz or higher.

TheUltimateKoopa is correct, it has nothing to do with the sample rate. I read somewhere that FLAC -> MP3 "preserves" more quality than MP3 -> MP3, I have no idea if the difference (if there even is one) is audible but it’s just something I do from force of habit.

Precisely. The simple proof that "iTunes doesn’t support 32000 Hz" is BS, is simply that I have played 32000 Hz in iTunes perfectly. What it could be, is something related to the header in the original streams (BFSTM, BCSTM, BRSTM, etc)
FLAC to MP3 conversion degrades the quality as intended to however when you convert a lossy format into another lossy format like MP3, you inevitably degrade the audio quality even further whether it’s audible or not. It’s like saving a JPEG image into something else and then saving it back into a JPEG, the image quality becomes worse then it was previously.

Whether it be an old version of iTunes or not people should use better audio players like Winamp, VLC, and foobar2000 to name a few. Also it can’t be something related to the original streams. Once converted only the raw waveform is perserved, it should sound exactly as I hear it: without distortion.
You are AWESOME dude, thank you so much I needed this game’s soundtrack so badly! <3
I downloaded the FLAC version, converted all of the files to mp3 using Adobe Audition (though kind of software like that should work) and everything sounds just fine now in iTunes.
Hopefully someone will upload a "fixed" .MP3 version that’s perhaps mid-quality so the songs are about 2MB each instead of 5MB.
Not sure if this works, but:

It’s a simple "BCSTM – MP3" conversion
