Cool. Thanks.
While the soundtrack doesn’t include frontrunning beats (Darn!), SNES Donut Plains 3 has the whistling you’d normally hear while you’re in first place. Oddly enough, the additional drumbeats are not present. So it’s pretty nice to hear this type of arrangement.
Shy Guy Falls and Wario’s Gold Mine have the Shy Guy variations, although they’re much quieter than what is heard in !!!!!’s mixes.
Another is 3DS Music Park. On the second loop, everything heard as you race the course like pianos, xylophones, enclaves, etc. are present throughout the loop. It’s interesting how they included that but it sounds good. I always wondered how they would arrange 3DS Music Park considering in-game, it has more than 7 variations. I think it’s great how they mixed all the variations into one loop, so we can hear it all.
Courses with full versions heard in their Highlight Reels are in this soundtrack, such as Dolphin Shoals, Super Bell Subway, and Baby Park (Which uses the same arrangement heard in Double Dash!!).
As far as quality goes, it’s wonderful! I’ve yet to compare and contrast the Original Soundtrack to the direct rips of !!!!!’s. It’d be great if they went ahead with a higher Hz than what the Wii U plays. Although I’m not much of an audiophile, so if someone can confirm this for me, that’d be great. Either way, both the OST and !!!!!’s album arrangements are fantastic. Hopefully we’ll see DLC #2 for !!!!!’s since the original doesn’t include the frontrunnings.

It’s better then my rip in quality for sure due to them using lower quality ADPCM encodes in-game. No surprise at the lack of frontrunning beats (I’ll put them in myself and hopefully not clip the track) and weird very low mixing of variations like in Shy Guy Falls.
UPDATE:
Put up a link for the scans. The ones in the original links was missing the Obi.
A couple more footnotes to add to what this Soundtrack has; for DS Tick Tock Clock, on the second loop, it has a bunch of the mechanical noises/cranks you’d hear during the course. I don’t know why they felt the need to put sound effects but oh well.
Electrodrome has the Music Road variation as well but it’s not the entire loop. That’s a shame.
Interesting to note that DS Tick Tock Clock, Mount Wario and Bone-Dry Dunes end without a fade-out. Their songs conclude with the final instrument note, which I actually find quite interesting! I didn’t think they’d include such, but I like it. Another example of this is heard in "The Music of Mario Kart 8: Super Bell Subway" where the video ends without a fade-out. Curiously enough, neither version of Super Bell Subway on the OST ends without a fade-out.
Not sure if you will rip the second DLC pack, but if you plan to I will surely look forward to it. Keep it up!
mine is smaller but cleaner lol
