As part of the 20th anniversary celebrations for Chrono Trigger, the beloved Super Nintendo / Super Famicom JRPG, Yasunori Mitsuda and Square Enix are publishing a new arrangement album featuring music from both Chrono Trigger and its sequel, Chrono Cross.
The album is titled Harukanarutokinokanatahe, which may translate to something like "Far Beyond the Distant Time", but it’s difficult to say, since the title is in Katakana with no Kanji characters to indicate a division of words and phrases.
Harukanarutokinokanatahe is a single CD album that retails for 3000 yen ($24.23 US) plus tax. It will hit stores on October 14, 2015.

Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross Arrange Album / "Harukanaru Toki no Kanata e" (This title will be released on October 14, 2015.)
My tentative translation;
"Toward the distant, far off times"
Big announcement for game (music) lovers! Worked on Yasunori Mitsuda’s Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross Arrange Album! Was an honour to be asked to write original lyrics and sing the album title song, "To Far Away Times".
Thought I’d dress the part of Schala-Kid-Zeal during the rec! ❤️ Sarah xxx

NicoNico today hosted a live stream promoting the upcoming arranged album. In addition to giving an early preview of the full album, the stream also treated us to three live arrangements: Wind Scene, Schala’s Theme, and On the Other Side / Epilogue ~ To Good Friends.
The arrangements sound very different from their album counterparts, as they’re a lot more acoustic and instrumental-based. Seeing as how they’re unlikely to appear on the album, I captured a recording. There’s a few slight sound anomalies in the recording (i.e. a hiss here and a crackle there), which was inherent in the stream itself. I fixed those as best as I could:

You are brilliant and awesome, good madam!
I downloaded it, and did some remastering with Ozone 5 to clean up and master the audio better, since I doubt we will get a official release of these tracks anytime soon.
Get it it at the link below
Nice one! The remastering certainly makes the songs more punchy sounding. 🙂

It as occured to me I have never seen Mitsuda perform music, since all this concerts and live performances were Japan only and none of those concerts were ever released on DVD.
