Wallace and Gromit have been getting themselves caught up in offbeat adventures since 1990, starring in four short films and one feature length film. These stop-motion claymation films were all scored by Julian Nott, who brought the pair further to life. I watched Wallace and Gromit almost daily as a young’n and his music has been burned into my mind ever since. It’s fantastic to finally listen to these scores on their own, and it was a pleasure putting together the contents of this thread, but it wasn’t just me; this was a joint effort. James P. Sullivan suggested that someone get to work on grabbing this music, and provided me with some helpful advice on how to name and edit tracks; he also provided all of the wonderful cover art you see here! PonyoBellanote and CGCJ provided the 5.1 surround sound files necessary to make proper edits. Lockdown was kind enough to provide a copy of Julian Nott’s promotional CD, which features several tracks from A Close Shave. pernclub has given me info on the technical aspect of the scores and corrected The Wrong Trousers for me, improving the quality of track 17. Everyone in the original request thread (Thread 189334) provided a lot of help and support, so thanks, guys!
A Grand Day Out
The one that started it all! Nott clearly has a lower budget here than in his other scores, but no matter: he still delivers a powerful and thrilling score nevertheless. There are almost no sound effects in this soundtrack, as most of the music was clean in the rear channels of the 5.1 mix. The synth bits sound a bit dated at times, but it just adds to the charm of the soundtrack, in my opinion. Every single cue from the film is here.

The Wrong Trousers
No doubt my favorite of them all, both story and score. Sound effects were strangely mixed in during the scene where track 2 plays, but every other cue is more or less very clean. Every single cue from the film is here, aside from the songs which are played on McGraw’s radio. Track 17 is courtesy of Lockdown and pernclub; Lockdown provided the abbreviated track from Nott’s promo CD and pernclub mixed it with the film version in order to provide the full cue.

A Close Shave
Tragically, the sound mix for this one was unusable. The rear channels were only a (very) low-quality copy of the front channels, and the front channels were bathed in sound effects. No cue could be extracted cleanly – not even the end credits. Fortunately, Lockdown’s promo CD contributed several tracks from this episode. No sound effects in this one, of course. Also, thanks to pernclub for letting me know that there were indeed six tracks for this short available, rather than five.

Will You Do Some In The Same Style For Curse of the Were-Rabbit?? Please
I’m not sure what to do with Were-Rabbit. There was a commercial soundtrack release, and if anyone has that please share it! If there are any cues from the film people want that aren’t on the OST, then I can try to rip it.
But like I said, I’ve heard that the sessions are floating around in the trading circles… sooo…. if you have ’em, anyone, post ’em!

Also, hack3rman posted a couple tracks (Thread 124003) from Lorne Balfe’s site a while ago…
As far as I know very little material has been officially released… nothing on SoundCloud except for a theme and a bit from the movie.
I was referring to the track list of the Were-Rabbit soundtrack, it seems like we have quite a bit from that, but I’m just wondering if the two tracks (From Jullian’s SoundCloud) ‘Brainwash’ and ‘Wallace gets shot’ over-lapped with the soundtrack at-all, hoping that they don’t, so we could have even more from the film!
Edit: ‘Wallace gets shot’ over-laps with ‘Dogfight’ and ‘Brainwash’ over-laps with ‘Brainwash & Go’…
Another edit: ‘Dogfight’ is on the soundtrack in its entirety and ‘Queensbury Rules’ over-laps with ‘Transformation’, so everything that is available is on the soundtrack…
Fixed thankyou friend

Wiki Says This Regarding The Wrong Trouser Radio Extract:
Also removed for the DVD (again for reasons of copyright) are two specific songs from the penguin’s radio replaced with extracts from Hammond organ versions of "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree". The pieces that were removed are "Happy Talk" from the musical South Pacific and "(How Much Is) That Doggie in the Window?
&
Originally in the BBC version of the film, Gromit’s birthday card played Happy Birthday To You in the scenes where he opens it, and also when Wallace goes over to the picture to take out the piggy bank. When it was released on VHS and DVD in the UK and the US, Warner Bros. and BBC Enterprises changed it to For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow to avoid copyright infringements. Also in the scene when Gromit is kept awake, Happy Talk and How Much is That Doggy in the Window were also removed and replaced with Hammond organ music. Tie A Yellow Ribbon had no copyright, so it was left in. Also Gromit’s TV at breakfast no longer plays the Open University theme.

I am literally SO proud of this whole project and of Skelly’s work. Particularly The Wrong Trousers is better than I ever thought a rip would be. SO happy. 🙂
Ditto! Clean rips of 2 out of 4 films ain’t bad!
Glad to see so many people are enjoying this! A small part of me hopes Nott sees this thread and considers producing actual OSTs…
I guess Aardman never wrote back to you?

It certainly ain’t!
That would be great. But I don’t think he has a say in what happens to his music. I don’t think he owns release rights.
And no, Aardman never replied. 🙁
– Material from the Shaun the Sheep spin-off series, with music by Mark Thomas!
I have a DVD of a few episodes, and while it’s mixed in stereo, I can at-least get the credits music if anyone wants it. And I’ve also been able to get a few excerpts of the music from some of the online games, they’re short and low quality (64-112kbps) but probably better than nothing, so, if you want that, just ask 🙂

Do We Have Anyway Of Extracting Audio From Any Of These W&Gs
Wallace & Gromit’s Musical Marvels
Wallace and Gromit’s World of Invention – 1 season 6 episodes 30 minutes each
Wallace and Gromit’s Cracking Contraptions – 1 season 10 episodes 1 to 3 minutes each
I’ll have to make a ‘miscellaneous’ album sometime with Cracking Contraptions, the demo on the Nott promo, and Shaun the Sheep.
And add Mr. Gold’s Were-Rabbit info and the Shaun the Sheep film soundtrack.
Nope, all I sent you was the 5.1 audio for the shorts and the music from two gallery extras that are just the credits music from A Matter of Loaf and Death looped a few times and what I believe is the first cue (The lead up to the title reveal) of The Wrong Trousers.

No, it was a bundle pack of 4 games for download – Fright of the Bumblebees, The Last Resort, The Bogey Man and Muzzled.
If anyone has them and is willing to rip the music, then by all means please do so.
I personally am not too interested in seeking out and ripping these games, but if anyone else does it, or sends me the audio files, I can add it to the main post.
Btw, how does one go about making a poll? I’ve looked but can’t see an option…
A Close Shave is just the few tracks off Julian Nott’s promo, so they weren’t extracted off the film.
Could you please send me the link for The Curse of the Were-Rabbit in MP3?

Basically, if a 104.167% slowdown of Train Chase rip makes it match the promo CD version, this is correct and the rips may need reprocessing to make them recording-session-accurate.
———- Post added at 03:10 PM ———- Previous post was at 03:02 PM ———-
Checked again and it’s even more complicated than that, annoyingly. The Bluray *is* sped up but it’s been badly "pitch-corrected", so it’s actually too low. It’s about (but not exactly, frustratingly) a semitone lower than it should be, if the Nott CD is an accurate gauge, which I’m assuming it is. To double check the accuracy of the CD we’d need to check the Close Shave tracks against the Bluray to see if the same thing happens there.
Once again, this is in no way a slur on the amazing work, just a fist-shake at 2|entertain and/or Aardman.
Ahh… that means it’s been converted from the 50i master for US compatibility (those restorations were done in the UK, and the assets will have been locked down into 50i before being converted to 60i). Going to try and play the Region B, the rip and the promo of Train Chase against each other for more clues.
There’s definitely something potentially fixable going on though with the conversion speed, worth investigating.
The UK version of the W&G Bluray (which the US one will be made from) is 50i, to accommodate the made-in-50i Matter Of Loaf And Death, with speedup conversions of the first three films from 24fps to 25fps. The US version will be made from this, so probably slowed back down to 24fps, meaning that the first three films should theoretically be at the correct speed and Loaf And Death slowed down. However, if any pitch correction had been used at any stage of the restoration/standards conversion, this would mean there would be audio pitch errors despite the US version running at the correct speed.
There is also the possibility that there’s a mastering/tape speed error on the Nott promo CD, or that the cue was altered for the film, or that it’s a different take. But there’s definitely something odd on a technical level about the source which we could possibly crack and fix to perfect these already amazing rips.
———- Post added at 04:32 PM ———- Previous post was at 04:25 PM ———-
Right, speaking to someone involved in the release to confirm something and I’ve cracked it!
A friend at Resources, who put together the original Bluray.
Right, I know everything now. My hunch was correct and there is a speed issue, but much better we can very easily fix it. The following things are true, some of which surprised me. It’s simpler than I’d feared.
– Wrong Trousers and Close Shave were both made natively at 25fps/PAL, not 24fps. This is apparently because they were specifically made for television with BBC money (I assumed they were made 24fps beforehand, but apparently not). A Grand Day Out was also completed and post-produced for/in PAL, so is the same. Matter Of Loaf And Death was always 50i/PAL. This means all of TV W&G was made at the same native frame rate.
– This means the frame rate and running speed is correct on all four of the films on the Region B version of the Bluray.
– The brief theatrical screenings of the originals were slowed down to 24fps specially for cinema presentation, but this was a derivation of their native speed.
– The American Bluray of the films is slowed down to 24fps from 25fps. This means via a quirk of fate it matches the slowed-down cinema versions (which they only did for Oscars qualification anyway!) but is nonetheless running too slow.
– By speeding up the score rips to exactly 96% (not time or pitch, a simple resample) it reverts them perfectly to their correct speed. This also makes the Train Chase cue from the CD now exactly match the equivalent section of the film.
Solved! It’s easy enough for anyone to do as well with the files already here. Obviously if someone higher up the chain wishes to set it in stone then it’s no less quick or simple a job. 🙂
– Sped up to 96% to match native 25fps
– Resampled to 44.1hz
– Boosted by 6db (no clipping)
Sendspace link (https://www.sendspace.com/file/fu1yhi)
(Note: the 44hz conversion was so I could burn a CD and also an attempt to tame the odd, dithering haze artefact on the original source. It’s really easy to do yourself if you want a rawer file, this is just my personal preference. Will happily delete this if out of line, just an attempt to speed the process up a bit in light of the discovery about the US Bluray. TheSkeletonMan939 still wins all, I have merely done the incredibly easy bit at the end!) 🙂

So, just speed up the rips by 4% and they’re back to their correct pitch?
Would you be able to do this for the updated rip, which is cut up to 20 tracks, please?
As before:
– Sped up to 96% to match native 25fps
– Resampled to 44.1hz
– Boosted by 5db (no clipping)
…except, I thought ‘now it matches, wouldn’t it be good to use the promo Train Chase as that’s one of the only bits on the rip where SFX get in the way?’ So I’ve done a new hybrid edit of the rip and the promo. Slightly more difficult than expected but I’m extremely pleased with the end result which I think is seamless. Very few effects are left in this, and only one I’d say doesn’t get disguised by the music. Work done:
– Promo version matched and reinserted
– Transitions between sources smoothed
– Bad/sharp edit in middle of promo track fixed, matched to timing of film version but with a transition smoother than either
– Sound effect removed from final chord
Here’s my new fixed hybrid edit of Train Chase on its own, for the curious or those doing their own speed-correction (https://www.sendspace.com/file/4yuka9)
And here’s the entire speed-corrected Wrong Trousers, with both original and my fixed versions of that track (https://www.sendspace.com/file/wrw3h7)
P.S. I’ve noticed the opening post doesn’t include the Close Shave version of the W&G theme in the folder (erroneously labelled ‘Wallace & Gromit Theme – Demo’ on Nott’s promo – the "demo" in this case presumably meaning it’s from his own ‘demo’ or showreel tape rather than literally being a demonstration version, because that’s definitely a real Close Shave cue). Meaning we’ve actually got six tracks from ACS instead of five. 🙂

Would you be able to do this for the updated rip, which is cut up to 20 tracks, please?
The upda… oh dear I’d missed that. Is it the same rip, just differently presented? To replicate the difference it would probably be quicker to chop my fixed one up in the same way. I’ve got audio editor blindness at the moment, though am happy for someone else to carry on from here.
It is the same rip just cut up to be as heard in the actual animation, it can be found in the first post.
I might leave that to someone else then. I’m pretty pleased with what I’ve managed to add to proceedings but I already feel a bit bad for piggybacking on someone else’s work.

Oh, one more thing, here’s the now pretty rare Shaun The Sheep theme tune CD single from 2007. Six versions, 192kbps MP3. If I can find the original disc around I can do a FLAC with the CDROM extras if it’s required. But that’s overestimating how organised my CD collection is.

Vic Reeves – Life’s A Treat (Shaun The Sheep) (https://www.sendspace.com/file/dtzv4y)
Has there not been an official release of the actual theme as heard in the series, not those remixes…?
The first track on the single is Mark Thomas’s official release of the TV theme, albeit extended to be a full song. But that’s the only official version, yeah. To get the 30 sec TV version you’d probably be best just ripping a DVD.
I’m getting confused with all this updates! Are they really to make the collection much better?
Well all I’ve done really is get the originals and speed-correct them, boost them a bit and fix one track. Though they’re technically very similar to the originals, there’s a very big difference between them in real terms.
And talking about Shaun the Sheep, pernclub, the CD’s about to release, very soon, if it’s not out already, in the UK. If you have it or plan to get it, would you mind sharing a FLAC copy of it? I think it’s already out (ever since June 1th) in FLAC digitally.
I have it, but I’m making an executive decision not to share the movie soundtrack myself, sorry. It’s a current, very niche, release that needs support. Nothing personal. I can’t stop someone else doing obviously but I don’t think it’s fair to directly cut into sales of new release, small-scale CDs as it hurts soundtrack fans most of all in the end. Massive big Hollywood things or very old things it doesn’t matter so much but the audience for this soundtrack on CD is tiny and I wouldn’t feel right harming it. I worry about taking Silva Screen for granted because there’s nothing else after they’ve gone.

If you could do the same to A Grand Day Out (the 20tr edit), that would be great. As long as you’re sure that’s how that one would have been originally. I really don’t think Skelly will mind if you do this, because he already did all the hard work ripping the scores. You’re just adding the icing on the top. 😉

But there is a pitch difference between the rip and the promo, not just a speed difference. Also, you say a "104.167% slowdown" – don’t you mean speed up??
The other percentage I quoted earlier is to do the opposite thing – to turn PAL speedup back into 24fps, from when I thought it might be the opposite problem. So it’s 104.1666666 recurring percent to undo it, basically. A number worth noting down for correcting rips of PAL DVDs of feature films.

Thanks for the explanations and your hard work! A bit technical, isn’t it?! :p
Have you had a chance to chop up A Grand Day Out yet?
If you can "correct" A Grand Day Out, then go for it! I guess I can have an "Americanized" version (my version) and an "original" version for the three shorts sourced from the Blu-ray release.
I Was Begining to Worry If You Had Been Hidden Away In Someone’s Closet!
So, was A Matter of Loaf and Death not on the Blu-ray and sourced from the DVD audio I sent?
Loaf and Death was on the Blu-ray, but remember, A Close Shave was all sourced from Lockdown’s promo CD, so I assume that’s all at the correct tempo and pitch.
I’m currently away, but I’ll be home on Tuesday evening.

I believe that is indeed the case.

The Wrong Trousers fixed (https://www.sendspace.com/file/wrw3h7)
Shaun The Sheep CD single (MP3) (https://www.sendspace.com/file/dtzv4y)
Basically, I’ve just not been around enough (and won’t much soon either) to be able to re-chop up Grand Day Out and most importantly mirror these new respeeded versions on MEGA, so if someone else could take over the mantle of doing that, that would be great.
Also, I can properly confirm that the file entitled "43 – Demo – Wallace & Gromit Theme Tune", not in the Close Shave zip file, is definitely the Ending/Credits cue from the end of A Close Shave. This brings the total amount of clean music we have from it to over 10 minutes, including most or all of the action music but sadly none of the love themes for Wendoline.

But thanks for you work, pernclub! Very much appreciated. And I completely understand about not having enough time! Maybe Skelly can re-chop Grand Day Out? Or someone else with enough time and skill.
I can give it a shot.
There’s a lot of stuff I need to add to the first post! 😀
I’m trying to determine if I can just use eac3to to fix it all.
I’m trying to determine if I can just use eac3to to fix it all.
As far as I know, it’s pitch as well. That’s what changing ‘speed’ means, as opposed to just ‘tempo’ or ‘pitch’.
Remember the rip vs the official train chase? Definitely a pitch difference of about a semi-tone.
…. Oohhhhhhh.
That makes sense.
So hypothetically, I could just "correct" everything to the way it’s all supposed to be by converting the audio from NTSC to PAL?
That makes sense.

I guess so…?
BTW, for those interested, here’s (https://mega.co.nz/#!aJdCCbhK!YRW7JKeECgQU52kfTQAzX80NN9KauruTerXLKvh KrFs) an example of what I’m doing for the Shaun the Sheep compilation.
Are these edits based on anything or are they just how you feel they might go together?
It’s not much fun to have a soundtrack full of 5-second audio cues, so I figured I might try to combine them into tracks mildly interesting to listen to. Once I post the soundtrack in full I’m hoping you guys will let me know if I succeeded in that.
What I’m going to do is keep the original links I put up but label them as the "Americanized" versions, with the PAL versions as the "original" versions.
Stuff to add to the first post:
-"Original" and "Americanized" versions
– Shaun the Sheep compilation (including pernclub’s promo CD)
– Updated Close Shave w/ that sixth track
I found a torrent, but if anyone has it I’d appreciate it if you contacted me! :D:D

YES! Let’s hope you can get the music completely clean from it. Was all of it released on Blu-ray? (I also found a torrent (http://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4121279), which is saying that it has the 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, but it seems to be a rip of all the files from the Blu-ray, for which I wouldn’t know what to do to extract the audio)
The DTSHDMA stream is listed as German in the BDinfo section.
This shouldn’t matter much, I don’t think.
I watched the movie and there was no speaking roles in it. Just noises.
GER shouldn’t make a difference.
The only other countries to release on bluray is China and Japan.
But mostly German blurays reach public torrent trackers like ruTracker.
Those aren’t "rips" of anything.
It’s the complete bluray in "folder structure" (or "BDMV").
You would need something like MakeMKV to remux the files to MKV then use eac3to on them to demux/transcode the audio.
Or if you know what you’re doing, you can use MKVtoolnix to remux the playlist file (.mpls).
Don’t remux the direct .m2ts, they don’t support chapters.
The language shouldn’t matter at all either, since there’s literally no dialogue in any episode of this show.
Right now I’m downloading a single .m2ts file to see what the audio mix is like.
I’ll give you guys an update when I’ve looked at it! 😀
Shaun the Sheep (2005 – ) (http://www.blu-ray.com/Shaun-the-Sheep/160642/#Releases)
But I followed the link that leads to RuTracker about the bluray there for one of the seasons.
It’s a complete bluray folder.
But looking at it again, the episodes are incredibly short, so chapters don’t matter.
Unless you want to use the listed 00602.MPLS which combines all the episodes for single playback on the first disc.

Whoop, my mistake!

That’s not important; I don’t care for Blu-ray structure, just the audio, so the .m2ts files are all I need (right?).
Right.
What will the ETA be on this? I loved the movie so much I want to watch the series.
And listen to them.
I should catch up on W&G, too while I’m at it.
I can’t imagine there being much rear activity, so I’m optimistic about the music being isolated back there! 😀
I think I’ll have to make a new thread just for Shaun the Sheep.
I don’t want to download all 50 GB of the BRrip myself, so if anyone is interested in helping out, let me know and we can work something out.
Also: here’s (https://mega.co.nz/#!3Ql23SrS!z5NUuJI7QhgzP3z9xWuqriffVSmbLgftVYimvSk TNhc) all the work I did with CGCJ’s Shaun music files, for those interested.
I still need to:
– Upload pernclub’s corrected Wrong Trousers
– Speed-correct A Matter of Loaf and Death + add CGCJ’s clean version of track 2
– Speed-uncorrect A Close Shave for American listeners
– Continue working on the Shaun the Sheep compilation (thanks CGCJ!)
Thanks in advance !
Excellent work.
I tried that, CGCJ gave me the DVD mix. It’s the same as the Blu-ray’s, unfortunately. 🙁
Probably. It’s not a really "problem", it’s just a horrible, horrible sound mix.
Actually, the "3 Cracking Adventures" DVD is different to the one I have (It has a different cover and obviously misses A Matter of Loaf and Death), I think it’s the same just an earlier release missing A Matter of Loath and Death, I may be wrong though as I don’t actually own it. (It may therefore have a different mix, but I think it may just have the original non-5.1 mix)
In any case I looked it up, the "Cracking Adventures" set only has stereo mixes (http://www.dvd.net.au/review.cgi?review_id=607).
Also, amazed by how few votes A Close Shave has. I honestly think that is the best of the bunch, with The Wrong Trousers admittedly a very close second. Worst (IMO) is undoubtedly A Matter of Loaf and Death; the charm just…wasn’t really there.
Glad you appreciate them all! 🙂
I’ve been wanting that score for ages.
The 5.1 mix is atrocious… something a 14-year old could make with an upmixer. Not well done at all. I think our only chance for A Close Shave is if these scores are officially released someday.
Taken from some online flash games. The tracks have been identified and where possible have the same titles as Skelly’s rip. (The .flac tracks are edits which were exported as such to preserve what little quality there was)

New link for the first three films (original):
I no longer have the files for the Americanized versions. I also do not have anything for A Matter of Loaf and Death because it sounds horrible. Not the music, my rip.
I have used a link shortener because I believe the captcha will prevent bots from automatically flagging the link.
I’m obsessed with that score.
They were not.

I’m still holding onto hope that we could get ANY kind of decent rip of "A Close Shave".
I’m obsessed with that score.
Yeah… I’d have done it if I could have. 🙁 It just wouldn’t have been enjoyable in the least.
I can’t believe these scores haven’t been released. There must be a lot of red tape.
No he isn’t. pernclub said he knew a guy who assembled the Blu-ray set.
They dealt with the source material, which was at PAL specifications.
In any case I don’t have the Americanized edits anymore… but anyone who wants to convert them to that speed, feel free to do so.
Thank you !
Thank you for the work gone into this project. Was listening to The Grand Day out rip and I wanted to cry.
Thank you !!!
First time sharing anything of my own on here, so lemme know if I screw it up, haha!

I’ll give these a listen, but honestly I doubt anyone could do better than Skelly.
Having given these a listen, I’m genuinely surprised at the quality – what was your source?

Probably same as yours – 5.1 mixes, either from one of my own DVDrips or a bluRay torrent from years ago, I honestly forget. I’ve been training myself in audio restoration and have developed what my music tech’ tutor once described as a "forensic ear" – since discovering iZotope RX, I’ve been using it in tandem with Audacity to make instrumentals of random things for years. Surprisingly only really found this forum this year, might submit more of the odds-n-sods I’ve done over the years – currently my big project is the Charlie Brown specials – but I’m glad I exceeded your expectations! ;-D
Something I’m p. sure was overlooked in the OP’s version of Building The Rocket/Preparing For The Moon, even without hearing it, was that even though on the surface it doesn’t sound like there’s any SFX on it on the side channels, there’s actually a fair few droplet-drips from the basement ambience that snuck in – they’re hard to make out at first but once you pick up on them you can’t unhear it. I made sure to remove-and-smooth as many as I could find in my own edit, as well as fixing how the track seems to fade-in slightly at the beginning (its so tantalising knowing there’s actually a slightly extended version somewhere out there)…

Very interesting, and most impressive. You’re right, I hadn’t picked up on those drips but I can’t think how. Your take on "Escape From The Moon" is also impressive, as that was the most tricky cue to get sounding ok with all the blasting sfx of the rocket.
Is there any chance you could at least take a look at A Close Shave? That was the one we had to give up on due to the audio mixing.
Haha, yeah, I remember looking at the waveform for Close Shave and thinking "that’s a fat NOPE" – if I had some foreign dubs however, I might be able to salvage some bits of it – I got a really nifty method I can use that I invented myself, if at least 2 are available.
Well, congrats. It’s great.

I’m afraid I can’t provide foreign dubs – no idea where to look or how to get hold of any. If I did, I would! Do you know anyone who could? Sounds like it’s worth a shot. The music is great, particularly when Gromit is kidnapped and framed. Instant childhood memories whenever I hear it. That scene was always so emotional.
I found my old rip of it, and looking at A Close Shave, it’s mix is actually very well done, if a little odd – what appears to’ve happened is that they had the raw SFX elements and decided to mix all of them individually, an impressive feat to say the least – except they went a bit overboard, and then forgot to subtract the centre amplitude, leaving the front L-R completely muddied with sounds. Interesting to note that everything in the rear L-R is mono, including the music, apart from a few bits of ambient SFX. I might see if the original stereo track would be useful, I can rip my DVD today.
And thanks for the compliments, it really means a lot!
I’ll check my "3 Cracking Adventures" DVD to see if AGD’s audio is actually mono on there – and while I’m at it I’ll have a look through the BTS docos on The Complete Collection, it’s always worth looking through those sorts of things for bits a film’s score without the usual SFX.
I’ll probably be doing it all from scratch myself now lol but if anyone wants uncompressed .ac3’s of any of the films’ audio, gimmie a shout and I’ll put them up, haha!
