I knew Complete score of Shrek 1 is out there… I’m still waiting for it 🙂

Yeah, a "complete score" is out there. All it is is the OST in its entirety with a bunch of tracks added on at the end. You wanna know what those tracks are? You know how some tracks on the OST are a combination of shorter cues? All of the tracks at the end are some of those shorter cues which could easily be separated by a fan, with some quick fading. Then there’s the fan edit of "Fairy Tale" that’s made to sound like it complete the theme instead of cutting it off in the film. And none of it’s in any order and there are no track titles, so it looks fancy to a newbie or unobservant and gullible fan.

I don’t know why I keep seeing people clamber about a complete score for Shrek 1. Have you ever compared the music in the movie to what on the official soundtrack? If anything, the official soundtrack is longer, and there are some bits of it that were not used. Any legitimate complete score out there would likely include alternate takes/instrumentations of music we’ve already heard before, and not any film mixes.
